DAILY UPDATE: DAY 38
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
• Charlie wakes up and apologises to housemates if she upset any of them last night.
• Today is Joe & Jack’s 19th birthday.
• Most of the housemates are sick of listening to the on-going chat regarding Callum, Dexter and Charlie’s supposed ‘love triangle.’
• Jack tells some of the housemates that Dexter thinks he is in the ‘Dexter Show, doing everyone’s hair and just bum-licking.’
• Charlie tells housemates that although she has a connection with Dexter, it’s nothing sexual.’ Throughout the day most of the housemates get angry about listening to the same conversation.
• Hazel tells Charlie that she would never have let her go through with kissing Dexter in the shower last night.
• Housemates go head-to-head in today’s task, Trash for Treats.
• Hazel and Dan tell Charlie some home truths during a secret conversation while lying in the vegetable patch walkway
• Big Brother throws a private party for birthday boys Joe & Jack
• Dan and Dexter enjoy Dexter’s task Treat of a romantic picnic for two in the garden.
• Hazel and Charlie watch from the living are and question Dexter’s sexuality, Hazel says she has always suspected Dexter to be ‘half and half.’
• As a result of their part in the task Callum, Charlie, Dan joins VIP housemates Sam and Sophie for a private party in the safe house.

1. Charlie visits the diary room for a chat with Big Brother and says that if Jackie were still in
the house she would have sent her to bed “before I made a complete idiot out of myself.”
Charlie “My head’s in the clouds this morning I don’t really know what I’m thinking or what I’m saying. I’m feeling really hung-over then really embarrassed about what I’m like when I’m drunk, ooooh, Big Brother!” (Hides her face in her top)
2. Callum thanks Dan for helping to end Charlie’s ramblings the night before and Dan
questions why Charlie “had a go” at Callum when it was Dexter who instigated the
discussion.
Dan “I thought, why is she having a go at you because Dexter brought that conversation on in the kitchen.”
Callum “He’s just a bit of a d**k, nothing’s changed, I still won’t bother with him.”
Dan “I go round in circles with him ‘cause I have days where I really like him, and day’s where he annoys me. He thrives on every little bit of drama, it’s actually quite embarrassing.”
3. Dexter and Hazel have noticed that most of the housemates are in a bad mood.
Dexter (laughs) “I’m the only person that’s half happy, I’m just knackered.”
Hazel “Yeah me too, but everybody’s....”
Dexter “I think people in here; they just carry things over so much, just get over it.”
4. Charlie and Callum are in the bedroom, she takes the opportunity to apologise to him.
Charlie “I’m really sorry Callum if I was backing Dexter or not and being not nice to you, I really apologise. I can’t justify it because I was…”
Callum “I doesn’t matter, if I had a problem with you I’d tell you. I’ve said to you for weeks now, I feel like you’re influenced by him, and that’s what last night was.”
5. At the smoking area, Gina asks Dexter if he was going to kiss Charlie last night in the
shower when he ‘leaned in.’ He denies it.
Gina “But that’s what you told Charlie though.”
Dexter (Grins) “I put my hand on her chin, ‘cause I knew she wouldn’t anyway, that’s why I just put my hand on her chin.”
Gina “How would she know she wouldn’t if she was drunk.”
Dexter “’Cause she was drunk, it’s out of respect for women, I want something to be special.”
6. Hazel and Charlie are in the bedroom analysing last night and mention that Dan’s serious tone spoilt the mood.
Hazel “People just try to give people a complex about having fun when they’ve had a few drinks. I just think when people aren’t’ on the wavelength and don’t understand the banter they just get serious.”
7. During the task and standing back-to-back, Dexter smashes his treat box; as Callum did
not smash his box, Dexter has won the treat.
Dexter “Either way I wasn’t gonna let him win.”
Callum “Sometimes what you don’t do speaks a thousand times louder than what you do.”
Dan (from sidelines) “Very true Callum, very true.”
8. Gina and Dexter are on the garden sofas, she muses that his name is being spoken all over the house.
Dexter “That’s ‘cause the haven’t got anything to f**king talk about, I’m just one little guy on my own little journey.”
9. In the safe house Charlie is on the bed lying in between Callum and Sam.
Charlie “I’m thinking about who I’m gonna nominate ‘cause I’m really stuck. Anyone that I’m not close to, even though I like them, if I’m not really really close to someone, I’ve got to nominate them.”
Callum “Do what you got to do, no one is gonna take it personally.”
