DAILY UPDATE: DAY 49
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
• Yesterday housemates won 50% of their total shopping budget in Day One of Nemesis. Day Two begins with more training and raw eggs to be drunk.
• Gina Warrior Princess struggles with eating her five raw eggs. However Hotshot Hazel has no such issue.
• Dexter The Devious is talking to Hotshot Hazel whilst she is in the shower. He tells her he has woken up still hating Cowboy Callum after their fall out the previous night.
• After some training and protein the housemates decide to practice their catwalk skills.
• Cowboy Callum and Strongman Sam are deliberating over who will go in Friday’s eviction. Strongman Sam thinks it will be Hotshot Hazel or Cowboy Callum.
• Press conference for the next battle takes place. The Jackador will face off against The Jaded Joker.
• The Jackador was voted by housemates as most likely to win but The Jaded Joker won the battle. Housemates gain no extra percentage for the shopping budget.
• Strongman Sam wins his battle against Sophie Slamdown. Housemates guessed correctly and have therefore won 75% of the shopping budget and completed their task. The total shopping budget is £375.
• Housemates are given permission to use the pool; The Jaded Joker and The Jackador take advantage of this by swimming round and round creating waves.
• Gina cooks for the house using beer and chilli as key ingredients. Housemates are not impressed with her attempt and ban her from the kitchen in future.
• Charlie is in the diary room telling Big Brother how she feels about both Callum and Dexter and their tension has been blown out of proportion.
• Hazel is on the sofa with Dexter, she feels since the task last week, when housemates got to see what the public perception of her; she has noticed that certain housemates have distanced themselves from her.

1. Cowboy Callum is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about Dexter The Devious.
Cowboy Callum “The reason I am so strongly disliking Dexter is because when he pipes up on his opinions of the house and of me, he subtly puts me down. He uses little psychological words and tricks...Dexter sees me as competition and as an opponent that he can beat. He is constantly chipping away. I am trying not to be beaten…I don’t like him..there is going to be fireworks, a storm is brewing.”
2. Dexter The Devious is talking in the bedroom with Hotshot Hazel about the house mentality.
Dexter The Devious “Not being condescending but I just think we are made of different stuff…I am used to being on my own.”
Hotshot Hazel “To be surrounded with such a childlike mentality and aura, it is sometimes frustrating. I would love now to read a big massive book on brain science or neurology. Something in depth that I could actually put some brain cells into.”
3. Sophie Slamdown is talking to Big Brother about Strongman Sam and their relationship.
Sophie Slamdown “It isn’t like I am begging to be his friend. If he doesn’t want to be my friend then he doesn’t have to be. It’s not like I am going to sit in the corner and cry. It will not affect my time in here…We have been compared to each other the whole time in here…Me and Sam do not get on, stop putting us together because we will not talk.”
4. Charlie is talking with Gina in the kitchen about their ideal partners.
Gina “I have been out with guys where I can say shut up or something. But with this guy now..”
Charlie “He puts you in your place.”
Gina “Yeah and I quite like that.”
Charlie “If someone looks up to you too much or hangs on your every word, strong characters end up walking all over that…You lose respect for that person…I need to be put in my place.”
5. Hazel and Dexter are in the garden discussing the prize money.
Hazel “’Hazel would you like to take half the money?’ ‘No I think it will leave it.’ Take the money and run…some people wouldn’t take it…There is not a hope in hell that I wouldn’t take it…Why can’t people be honest and say that 90% of people would take the money.”
Dexter “I think that will be tested. I think that will be tested at some point. If there was just a room with a briefcase, I would say 8 out of 10 of us would be walking out of the door with the money.”
Charlie joins them.
Hazel “Would you take the money if you had a chance to steal?”
Charlie “No…I would want to stay and win.”
Hazel “What if you didn’t win?”
Charlie “It wouldn’t matter. When I came in here I didn’t even contemplate the money. I came in here for me to learn. If they said you could have the £100,000 or the whole country has accepted you and you have been yourself that would mean more to me than anything.”
6. Charlie and Callum are talking in the kitchen about their understanding of each other.
Charlie “Callum, you know just now you said you had me sussed when I was having a joke with you and Dexter. What did you mean by that?”
Callum “I should have known that would be playing on your mind.”
Charlie “It’s just because of the way you said it.”
Callum “I said I have got you all sussed, and that is me telling you that I understand you. I can pre-empt your reactions to certain things. Don’t worry about it. It’s gone.”
