Day 65: The Nommy Awards


As we speak (write?), Big Brother has invited the housemates to the Nommy Awards, an exclusive awards ceremony the likes of which Elstree has never seen.

The housemates will dress up in their gladrags to attend the bash in the living area, where they will be rewarded special Nommy statues and give acceptance speeches to the other housemates.

The winner of the Nommy Awards will be the one who receives the most statues, and they will be awarded a special tasty meal, with three housemate guests of their choice, cooked by Michelin-starred and Morrison's chef Atul Kochharchef. Check back later to see who gets this tasty treat.

The Housemate who has successfully nominated the most evicted housemates.

Under The Radar Award
The least nominated housemate

Public Enemy Award
Most nominated Housemate

Nemesis Award
For the two Housemates to have nominated each other the most

For housemate who has nearly been up for eviction the most often.

Broken Record Award
For the housemates that has nominated the same housemate every week.

Best Hair and Makeup
For the Housemate that was consistently best groomed when nominating

Special achievement award: Worst nominator
For the Housemate who just can’t make up their mind.

Day 65: The Nommy Awards results


Tonight, in what has been billed as the most sought after ticket of the year, the housemates attended the 2012 Nommy Awards.

There were highs and there were certainly lows, as Big Brother revealed the winners of this year’s gongs. And now we can exclusively reveal the results...

Broken Record Award - For the housemates that has nominated the same housemate every week.
Winner: Luke S for nominating Deana 7 times.

Close Shave Award - For housemate who has nearly been up for eviction the most often.
Winner: Luke S who was one nomination away from being up for nomination on four occasions.

Best Hair and Makeup - For the Housemate that was consistently best groomed when nominating
Winner: Scott for his beautifully powdered face.

Kiss Of Death Award - The Housemate who has successfully nominated the most evicted housemates.
Winners: Scott and Ashleigh for nominating four eventual evictees.

Under The Radar Award - For the least nominated housemate
Winner: Sara, for getting only 6 nominations in 65 day

Winner: Deana, for receiving a staggering 31 nominations

As Luke S won the most gongs - three in total, he received a VIP ticket to a lavish dinner this evening and choose Ashleigh, Sara and Scott as his guests.

Well, seeing as BB knew who would get each of those awards, that was obviously set up for Luke S to win and it was obvious who he would choose to have with him, so that was very engineered.

Every Big Brother since BB5 is a Storyboard concept and the producers can leave the storyboard to their minions to carry out from day/night one, Christine.
The housemates are encouraged to act out storyboard scenarios and prompted to speak bad of each other in the DR.
Scott didn't nominated Sara because she is an insider; so I was happy to see his dismay when he saw Sara nominate him...

I'm glad they engineered it. We got a chance to see Deana in her true colours - she comes in a sickly shade of vile.
