• It’s the morning after Gina’s altercation with Jemima which resulted in Big Brother issuing Jemima with a formal warning. In the garden, Charlie tells Jemima ‘everyone’s going to display all different sides in here; you’re just one of the first to have an argument affect you’. Jemima responds saying that because Gina has already had an argument with Sallie, she probably picks on people she feels threatened by.
• Sophie, Michael and Gina are in the bedroom discussing people pretending, to avoid not being nominated by Michael as he is the only person to nominate this week. Gina asks after Jackie’s slip up at the dinner table, now that he knows they have all been watching him in the diary room, does he feel he can tell which people are being nice to him to avoid a nomination. Michael says he has noticed a change and that he will be ‘taking them downtown, big time!’
• Gina goes to the diary room to complain about how filthy the house is. ‘The shower is irritating, no fresh towels and I actually washed my clothes and towel yesterday. I was proud of myself’. Gina goes on to request a vacuum cleaner as she would like to learn how to use one. She then changes her mind and requests that Big Brother provides a cleaner.
• The task provides much hilarity with the aim being that Charlie needs to sabotage the task and get her mother Jackie to lose her temper. The housemates are trying to be encouraging and they all look deflated about failing the task.
• After watching Michael talk about who he might nominate in the diary room the night before, Hazel and Sallie are talking in the garden about his reasons for nominating Sallie and that when he gets upset he always go to bed. Discussion turns to the thought of him being an actor and Sallie states that if she was an actress in the house she would go to bed to escape from acting. Hazel states that she wouldn’t do that as she was being paid, she would do a ‘damn good job’.
• The housemates gather in the living room to receive the task results. They are informed that because Charlie sabotaged the task and got her mother to lose her temper they passed and they will receive some relaxation treats. Many of the housemates are justifying why they knew that it was a bit suspicious. Sallie says of Charlie, ‘I knew she was more sporty than that!’ and Joe shouts ‘Charlie is the mole!’ All the housemates start shouting ‘Charlie is the mole!’
• Clip montage of the housemates in the garden, living room, and bedroom all massaging each other with the oils they won in the task. Hazel and Sallie are massaging each other, Jemima is massaging Sam and comments on how this could look suspicious, but she is glad that everyone is massaging each other.
• In the kitchen, Gina needs help turning on the oven and Dexter is in shock that she is even attempting to cook.
• Michael goes to the diary room to receive the nomination results as voted by the public and also their reasons for these votes. His reaction: ‘Brilliant, brilliant. Back in the game!’
• After nominations have taken place, the other housemates are diffusing the tension between Sallie, Dexter and Michael in the living room. The twins Jack and Joe are sitting in the tree house discussing their agreement with Michael’s choices and his reasons.

1. Dan enters the living room from the garden and sees Jemima upset by her argument with Gina from the previous evening.
Jemima (breaks down crying) “I’m really miserable at the moment.”
Dan “Oh, Jemima! Do you want to go to the tree house for a bit?”
Jemima “I just want to go home.”
Dan “What babe?”
Jemima “I want to go home.”
Dan “No you don’t. No you don’t. You don’t want to do that, that’s not you, that’s not the person I have got to know a little bit over the last few days. You’re not a quitter I don’t think. It will get better, you know it will.”
2. Sallie talks to Wolfy about Michael.
Sallie “He’s preaching about something then saying the opposite. He is just using an excuse because he doesn’t like me, which makes me believe he’s fake. Because he’s been like, well we got on from day one.”
3. Sophie and Wolfy are discussing what they eat at home.
Sophie “When I’m at home, I eat a lot of chicken super noodles. I love them!”
Wolfy “I lived off those for 8 months. 8 months I ate nothing but them.
4. Callum is in the diary room talking to Big Brother.
Callum “Everyone’s guard is up a little bit. Michael’s been put through the ringer, which you know is, we all knew what we where in here for, but he’s been put through the ringer. He’s ermm; I know some people are second guessing him. What a mind warp yesterday round the dinner table with everyone present, you know bless her heart Jackie to drop the bomb on him and I saw the look on his face. I couldn’t take my eyes off him really. I saw the slow look of realisation that he’s been living a lie for the last, kind of, the last 24 hours, must be really hard on him. I think he’s genuine. Michael’s genuinely kind of upset by it; I don’t think he’s going to trust anyone in the house. It’s a shame, a real shame, which means he’s kind of secluded and the way he deals with that is to go and sit in the corner or in bed. “
5. Dexter is sitting next to Michael’s bed talking to him about why he was nominated.
Dexter “I understand your reasons for doing what you did, you probably see me as a threat because me and you are probably on the same intelligence level. You know what I mean; we are quite deep thinkers, emotional people. I was very disappointed, because I have been saying I actually fu*king like you. That’s what fu*king hurt me more than anything, to be honest with you mate. Because I have never had any fu*king friends in my entire life. You know and that’s what fu*king hurt me. Because for me friendship is more important to me than anything else. That’s what gets me ******* emotional and upset. Not because I’ve had a drink, it’s because that’s the truth. I cared about you and I never care about anyone. I am so ******* misunderstood!”
Michael “If you have enough money like you say you do, you can do what you like.”
Dexter “I don’t, I really don’t. I’m land rich, cash poor.”
6. Michael goes to the diary room to talk to Big Brother about his conversation with Dexter.
Michael (laughing) “The poor guy….I am not a monster…….I like that he said or was it strategic, like that he thought I see him as competition because we are both similar, both intelligent. I like that. I think that’s what got me.”
