During tomorrow night’s Big Brother (Wednesday 26th June) there will be another live element during part 4 of the show. Emma will reveal to the housemates that the viewers have been voting to evict and the housemate with the fewest votes will be saved from eviction.

Key highlights from tonight’s show:



• On Sunday, housemates nominated for the first time. Yesterday housemates spent most of the day guessing who would be up for eviction.

• Joe is pumping the shower for Jack but runs off when a bee flies next to him. An argument ensues between the twins.

• Jackie is discussing her theory that Dexter has a twin, after being convinced it was not him in the shower that morning. The rest of the house continues the theory and Dexter plays along.

• Callum tells Big Brother in the diary room that he fancies Charlie, but it would be ‘wishful thinking’ to believe that anything could happen between them.

• Housemates faced the Feast Like a Beast task and guessed 6 correct answers. As a result they won a nice dinner of chicken curry.

• After an earlier conversation with Charlie, Hazel is upset by her comments. She explains the situation to Dan in the kitchen.

• Daley and Hazel are in the garden talking about a mutual friend who passed away. Charlie and Jackie join the conversation and Charlie unintentionally upsets Hazel.

• Charlie is tearful in the diary room after her conversation with Hazel and believes she needs to think before she speaks.

• Big Brother announces the names of the nominated housemates and tensions are running high; Dexter, Gina and Jemima will face the public vote to evict.


Key quotes from tonight’s show

1. Daley and Dexter in the kitchen with other housemates discussing the nominations.

Daley “Statistically it will go to the same kind of people, statistically.”

Dexter “Yeah because you are thinking the same way as me, because everyone in here’s fickle, it will be a continuation of the stuff that happened last week. That’s why I think I’ll be up then possibly one other. But I reckon if people are making tactical decisions….”

Joe “Calling everyone fickle isn’t’ going to gain you support is it now Dexter? Let’s be perfectly honest. Don’t try and cut off the people who might try and help you. Calling people fickle will only get you further in to the deep end of the pool.”

2. Gina is in the diary room after finding out that 8 of her housemates nominated her.

Gina “Well, just found out that I’ve been nominated. But knowing that eight people. Who do you think you are? Seriously! Like all pretence to my face and ‘your not going to go this week and I’m sure no one will really nominate you because you’re well liked in the group now and you’ve really really come out of your shell and everyone thinks you’re really really funny and everyone actually really likes you.’ F**k yourselves! Seriously, you don’t pay my bills! I don’t owe you anything! I feel like they all played me. I’ve actually given these people my time of day; I’ve actually made EFFORT with these strangers. I gradually try and like them and then this. Eight people so I’m confused and I’m like what bitches. I’ve never done anything to anyone in this house. I’ve been nothing but nice to them or try with them.”

3. Outside on the bench Dan, Jemima and Jackie are talking about Charlie’s comment earlier to Hazel.

Jemima “Charlie needs to think before she speaks as well sometimes.”

Charlie “She does but then Charlie’s got that, you know…”

Jemima “You can’t say that she’s innocent because she’s 26 years old not 16 you know.”

Jackie “No I’m not saying that.”

Jemima “You do sometimes.”

Jackie “She’s been through a lot.”

Jemima “We all have. I have been through so much s**t in my life.”

Jackie “But it’s not screwed up, it’s screwed up her head in terms of her growing process.”

Dan “Are you worried, you look worried.”

Jackie “Well I am because Charlie has been through far more than a lot of people at her age. You know.”

Jemima “You can’t say that though Jackie. You don’t know what everyone else has been through in their life to be honest. You know what your daughters been through because you’ve been there next to her. But you don’t know everybody. I’m not going to open up and tell you exactly what I’ve been through in my life because I don’t want you to know about my personal situation. But I’ll tell you something I’ve done a lot in my life, been through a lot and I’m here to make my family proud because there’s a lot I’ve done in my life that hasn’t.”

Jackie “But Charlie’s been through it in terms, she had her cyst when she was 15 the size of a football. She’s only got 1 ovary. She saw her grandmother die in front of her.”

4. After the argument in the garden, Dan, Charlie and Jemima are in the bedroom.

Charlie “Sorry about what mum getting defensive.”

Jemima “Don’t worry at all. Don’t feel like you need to protect your mum and she shouldn’t feel like she has to protect you.”

Dan “Jemima, you shouldn’t say that. Because Jackie was only doing what you would have done with your own daughter. That’s why I think Jackie got a bit involved. Because she was thinking well all I’m doing is protecting Charlie.”

Jemima “No but I think she protects Charlie a little too much sometime.”

Dan “I think its more evident because there in the house together as a mother and daughter, it would probably be more evident if you were in the house with your daughter.”

Jemima “I think people should be able to take on board other people’s opinions without interfering.”

Argument continues and Dan goes to the garden, Jemima follows him out and the argument escalates.

hello peeps, just started watching bb yesterday so don't know who they all are yet. has it been any good so far?

I watched the start of celeb bb earlier this year, but quit the minute they started rigging it to keep the two American nobodies in. never watched another minute of it after that. hope they're not rigging this series?

at least that vile little man dowling has been punted. thought it was quite telling how much of a fan he was of the horrid americans on celeb. birds of a feather and all that

It is as rigged as ever - and we still have presenters asking why we have not seen/heard of so and so - I bet the so and so's they are talking about would also like to know why it is not being rigged in their favor...
It does grate how much interference /manipulation the producers still have over what we see of the housemates, and how much the media and the studio audience play along with it.

jeeze I thought we had got rid of you for ever you narky hagis eater :wave:

editing yep ... they are protecting Woofy, the girls very unplasant, she gobbed up a big green one on the veggies in the garden last night but that wasnt in the main show.

BBOTS audiance seemed to be sedated, but thats what happens when you record in the day time, all the good weirdos are at work.

I thought the Celeb BB was the best one ever - I really enjoyed it.
