TASK: THE VIEWERS' TAKEOVER

With Dexter and Gina now living in the safe house watching whatever the housemates are up to, it’s up to them to create a day of havoc for the housemates in the main house.

The housemates in the main house are under the assumption that the Dexter and Gina walked out of the house last night after being evicted by the viewers. This morning, they were told that today is the “Viewers’ Takeover”, when viewers at home will be controlling certain situations in the house by voting for what should happen and who it should happen to. What they don’t know, is that these ‘viewers’ are actually Dexter and Gina watching events unfold in the safe house.

In order to pass the task and win a takeaway for the whole house, all the housemates need to do is comply fully with all instructions.

The dilemmas include:

- Which two housemates should be sent to jail for the day?
- Which Housemate should clean the entire house from top to bottom?
- Which jailed inmate should receive a disgusting lunch, and which should receive a nice lunch?
- Which two Housemates should sit in the treehouse for a private chat, and which topics should they discuss?
- Which two Housemates should receive a cake and a bottle of wine as a treat?
- Which Housemate should face an interrogation in the Diary Room, and what questions should they be asked?

TASK RESOLVE: VIEWERS' TAKEOVER



Yesterday, the housemates believed certain situations in the house were being controlled by the viewers, when in fact Dexter and Gina were pulling the strings (and watching the results) from the safe house.

Dexter and Gina’s decisions were:

- Daley and Wolfy should be sent to jail.
- Hazel should clean the entire house from top to bottom.
- Of the two jailed inmates, Daley should receive a nice lunch (consisting of a Cheddar Cheese Sandwich, Salt and Vinegar Crisps and Apple Juice) and Wolfy should receive a disgusting lunch (consisting of Stinking Bishop Cheese, Salt and Vinegar Grasshoppers and Bird Spittle & Fungus Juice).

- Jack & Joe and Sophie should sit in the tree house for a private chat, and should discuss:
1. Who they struggle to live with.
2. Who they think might be evicted next week.
3. Which housemate they think will be the most dramatically changed by their Big Brother experience.

- Dan and Sam should receive a cake and a bottle of wine as a treat.
- Hazel should face an interrogation in the diary room. She was asked:
1. Do you think the other girls in the house look up to you and aspire to be like you?
2. In your audition tape you stated that you were going to ‘stir the pot’. Have you made good on your promise?
3. Do you like sharing a bed with Charlie? Is there another housemate you would rather share a bed with?
4. Do you use your looks to manipulate the men in the house?
5. Have you developed a romantic connection with any of your fellow housemates?
6. Who is your favourite and who is your least favourite housemate?
7. Of all the housemates that have been evicted, who do you miss?

As housemates successfully followed all instructions and passed the task, they chose a Chinese Takeaway Feast as their reward last night.
