DAILY UPDATE: DAY 30
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
* It’s eviction day for either Callum, Hazel, Jackie or Wolfy.
* Dexter has last night’s revelations on his mind as he awakes next to Charlie in the safe house.
* Callum is still upset by the reasons that some housemates gave for nominating him.
* Charlie has a diary room chat and reveals that she thinks Dexter may have an ulterior motive. She tells Big Brother that she is “very very suspicious,” of him.
* Big Brother puts Dan’s skills to the test as housemates take part in the task, Detective Dan.
* Detective Dan correctly deduces that Sam is the saboteur; Sam is sent to prison while Dan wins the use of some exercise equipment.
* Dan and Wolfy put their differences behind them; she tells him how she really feels about her time in the house.
* Callum is resigned to the fact that he will be evicted this evening.
* Wolfy is the third housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
* Big Brother shocks housemates by revealing that the safe house is now closed; Charlie, Gina and Dexter must return to the normal house; viewers must now vote to send two more housemates to the lap of luxury and therefore, safe from nomination.
* Charlie and Dexter have a private chat in the tree house; she tells him so cold hard facts about his personality.
Key quotes from tonight’s show
1. In the safe house, Dexter tells Gina and Charlie that he feels he has his “soul back.” Last night he tried to convince Charlie that his feelings for her are genuine.
Dexter “Oh God, the realisation of what I said last night has just hit home.”
Charlie (Laughs) “I still don’t believe you.”
Gina “I know exactly what you’re doing.”
Dexter “What’s that supposed to mean Gina?”
Gina “Nothing.”
2. Most of the housemates have the eviction on their mind. Dexter and Dan are at the smoking area taking about Callum’s supposed t-turn with former friend Wolfy.
Dan “I think Callum heard that (last week’s boos) and totally stepped back from her, is he playing that game of being friends with who he thinks (may leave)? If you’re friends with someone and you step back immediately, like he did, it’s a bit much.”
Dexter “He’s sort of like a Smorgasbord of personalities; he’s taking a bit from Daley, a bit from me... he’s like a kind of Frankenstein.”
Dan “I really believe that.”
3. Charlie has come to talk to Big Brother about Dexter.
Charlie “Him saying he has feelings for me is a massive throw off, ‘cause I think he genuinely feels for Hazel, big time. Yet he’s saying all this stuff, ‘he has feelings for me…, he wants to see me afterwards.’ Never say never because I’ve had that before where something’s evolved.’”
4. Callum and Gina are talking in the living area about his nominations; he mentions his
OCD cleaning disorder and says housemates were silly to put him up.
Callum “They’re all messy b*****ds and I hope they see how f**king dirty this house gets. Also, I’ve come out of my shell now.”
Gina “There are a lot of people here that haven’t perceived themselves very well, by the way they’re acting and picking on people.”
Callum “I think there’s a couple of bullies in this house. Bullying can be really sly; it doesn’t have to be like physically bullying someone. ”
Gina “Manipulating as well, manipulating others too.”
5. Daley and Hazel are in the bedroom, having a chat about their situation.
Daley “I’m not saying that we haven’t got a connection, you know that. But I don’t want people to over analyse just ’cause we’re in Big Brother.”
Hazel “I’m not a drama queen kind of girl, but there was a point where maybe we were getting a bit carried away, but I think we’ve caught it in time.”
6. Dan and Wolfy are at the smoking area; he tells her she will be fine if she is evicted.
Dan “Me doubting you at times, I hope haven’t ruined your experience. You’ll be alright if you go, you will.”
Wolfy “I won’t, I’ve wanted this for years, more than a lot of people in this house (cries/Dan hugs her), it really has been my dream for years, I’ll just be devastated if I leave.”
7. Wolfy is evicted. The nominated housemates are relieved.
Hazel “I can’t believe I’m still here, I genuinely thought I was going.”
Sophie “You know what to do Hazel, carry on being a nasty piece of work.”
Hazel “Yeah, I’ll carry on being an absolute biaatch (sic).”
Daley (aside in Hazel’s ear) “Stir the pot, stir the pot.”
8. Daley is on the sofa as Hazel stands behind him; she still can’t believe she was saved from eviction.
Hazel “I just didn’t think I’d be here for another week, and I don’t think anyone in this room did either.”
Daley “Are you happy, at least you get to see my face for another week?”
Hazel (sings) “Danger danger, high voltage, when we kiss, when we touch."
Daley “Ain’t it weird how everyone’s being more open about me and you now. If me and you, (go into the Safe House), it will be too obvious.”
Hazel “If you and me go in (to the safe house) there tomorrow where in trouble (laughs), a lot of trouble, I won’t be held responsible.”
9. Charlie and Dexter are in the tree house. She tells him that at times she thinks he is “evil.”
Charlie “I really wanna love you, I just don’t get you sometimes, you’re so creative, perceptive and intelligent. Then you’re cold, cutting, game-playing, untrustworthy and unclear. Your s**t qualities confuse me. I think you’re playing a game. You’re such a bloody sneaky snake.”
