DAILY UPDATE: DAY 35 Key highlights from tonight’s show: • Day 2 of the shopping task and the house are woken up with a fast forward and then rewound back into bed. • Charlie and Hazel are talking in the garden about who they feel will be up for nominations next and who will be in the final. Charlie believes that her mum will go on Friday and that after Callum she will next to go. Charlie thinks the final three will be Gina, Sam and Sophie. • During a pause by Big Brother a beauty therapist walks into the garden and waxes Callum and Sam’s legs before waxing Dan’s chest. • During a pause by Big Brother the twin’s parents walk into the kitchen. Jack breaks from him pause and hugs his mum. The twins start to break down whilst talking to their parents. • During a pause by Big Brother where all housemates are in the living area, a barbershop quartet come in a sing a song about them all being fake. • The housemates are gathered in the living area to be told that they have 23 fails for the shopping task and that the number of fails they were allowed is hidden in the number 5 on the remote control. Callum retrieves the number which is 33, so the housemates pass the task and will be given a full luxury shopping budget this week. • Charlie and Dexter are in the living area looking at the TV screens with their faces discussing what the order of people leaving will be. • Callum is talking to Joe in the bedroom with Sam. They are discussing group dynamics and friendships. • Sophie and Jack are in the bedroom discussing their feelings over the way Dan spoke to them about Hazel the night before. • Dexter is talking to Jackie about his behaviour towards her when he was in the safe house and he is trying to tell her he has never been disrespectful towards her. • Callum and Dexter are talking in the living area and Hazel, Charlie and Jackie walk in and try and convince them that they have heard everything that was said. • Hazel is in the garden talking to Callum and Dexter telling them that one of them needs to win the girl as they will look silly otherwise. Callum responds that he is not in the race. • Jackie and Callum have an argument over her feelings towards Callum and he keeps asking her to explain why she doesn’t like him and what it is exactly that she is referring to when she says her opinion is based on fact. • Callum is talking to Dexter about his row with Jackie and how he feels that Dexter is the better candidate for Charlie that because of his own issues and insecurities he is not good enough for Charlie and would never be able to get a girl like her. • Dexter is in the diary talking to Big Brother about his opinions on the night’s row and that he feels Jackie was in the right. Key quotes from tonight’s show 1. Dan is in the kitchen b***hing about the twins to Sophie and Gina. Dan He (Joe) does not like it when he is not in on a conversation so he tries to get in on one when really he should leave it alone sometimes. Sophie I think everyone is like that a bit with Hazel though. Dan Sometimes they need to understand that I have got a son who is 5 years younger than them, I have been in the police for 10 years, I have dealt with horrible nasty things and seen a lot of things…They don’t respect me enough as who I am as a person, they really don’t and I really hand on my heart believe that. Sometimes they think they are right about everything and they don’t appreciate others people’s opinions and life experience. 2. In the garden Jackie interrupts a conversation between Hazel, Dexter and Callum over their feelings for Charlie. Jackie “This is all a load of old rubbish, it is a game. When you leave here you probably won’t see each other.” Callum “At the end of the day that is your opinion. Who knows who is going to stay in touch? Who knows who is going to stay in touch and who is not?” Jackie “Well your not.” Callum “What because you said so Jackie…You have made a choice about me. Regardless of it being between me and Dexter you have made a choice about me.” 3. Callum is in the diary room talking to Big Brother. Callum “Ask me how I am. Ask me how I am. Ask me how I am. Ask me how I am.” Big Brother “How are you Callum?” Callum “Embarrassed. Frustrated. Upset and generally not good enough. Jackie does not feel that I am good enough for her daughter. She has only had 4 ½ weeks with me so what is she basing that on, my appearance. My appearance isn’t good enough for her daughter. I have never been more proud of where I come from and my family and the council estate that I am from that when someone like Jackie or other people in the house look down their nose at me and talk to me like a piece of dirt because they can only be basing it. I have asked her what her reasons are and there aren’t any.” 4. Callum is talking to Charlie in the garden while they hug. Callum “I don’t feel like I went about it the wrong way but if I was aggressive I didn’t mean to be…you are a knockout you will go places. I can’t convince you…hopefully one day I will sweep somebody off their feet. Just do your own thing. Top bird. Top bird. I mean that. I never looked at you once and thought ‘I am going to pull that.’ I looked at you and thought ‘wow’. The more I talked to you and the more I got to know you I saw you didn’t see the wow yourself.” |

Callum has nothing about him so his lack of personality is exposed every time he tries to play the game. If he had went in there and just played himself like Sophie and Sam he would have been one of the favorites. Jackie is only reacting to the **** that is annoying her the same thing doesn't annoy the younger ones because they know best, don't you know. |

This sounds like a good task - wish I had seen it. I'm afraid that I actually like Callum & actually think that he would be a good match for Charlie. I believe that he genuinely does really like her, unlike Dexter who just wants to use her for his game plan (although now that his Mother has given her approval, it may encourage him to try to make it work). Callum has liked her right from the start, unlike Dexter, who liked Hazel to start with. I can remember initially Callum saying to Charlie that he liked her because she reminded him of how he was (saying all the wrong things & putting her foot in it etc) and he wanted to help her. I really do think that he genuinely likes her a lot & feels he has a connection with her, but lacks self confidence and now feels that he is not good enough for her. I don't think it is a game plan on his part at all. I think he will try to contact her when they leave the house. The only reason that Jackie doesn't like him, is because she thinks he is a liar, because he lied to get in the house, but I think they all do that to a certain extent. I don't think he is a liar really. Underneath everything, he really lacks self confidence. I actually pity Charlie, having such a controlling mother as Jackie. I hope that Jackie goes tonight. |

Callum is playing the game, Christine. He may well like Charlie but he defo wanted a showman with her, even said to Sam he will have to get Jackie out of the house so he can have an easier run at her... That is not a very nice attitude to have toward a someone you profess to "really like" is it? Callum has gone down the 'I am a poor boy nobody loves me' route for I believe the sympathy vote, it may well turn out to be a better tic-tac then the showmance one for him. Charlie's past and her obvious desire for fame must be a very worrying concern for her mother -remember, mother knows best - and I think Jackie is trying to steer her away from what she perceives to be "the wrong type" the poor wrong type always ends up not getting kicked to the kern, the rich, well connected type - Dexter - in this case ,always get what they want. Day 36: A secretly truthful evening develops 13 hours ago As the big eviction day draws closer, some of the housemates have a few truths they wish to discuss. Luckily for them, the person they're talking about is no where in sight, but will their secretive antics get them into trouble further down the line? Here is the real Callum |

Madeline wrote: Callum is playing the game, Christine. Oh yes, I know he is playing the game (aren't most of them?), but I still think his feelings for Charlie are real. Madeline wrote: He may well like Charlie but he defo wanted a showman with her, even said to Sam he will have to get Jackie out of the house so he can have an easier run at her... That is not a very nice attitude to have toward a someone you profess to "really like" is it? Nothing wrong with trying to get Jackie out of the way, because it must be tricky with her there. Not many people would want to date a girl with her Mother watching every move. That chat however, was game playing - it was a bit of naughty nomination chat in my opinion - trying to get Sam to nominate Jackie. Madeline wrote: Callum has gone down the 'I am a poor boy nobody loves me' route for I believe the sympathy vote Yes I agree, but that's no different to a lot of the others - Dexter's journey, Wolfy doing it for fat people etc Madeline wrote: Charlie's past and her obvious desire for fame must be a very worrying concern for her mother I shouldn't think Jackie is too worried about that. I think she desires fame herself. As Charlie said 'mum wouldn't want to leave by the back door. She wants the interview and all the reporters and newspapers and everything.' |
