Post subject:  Shopping task: Busy Bee

For this week’s shopping task the Big Brother house has been turned into a busy working beehive. But whilst their bee themed world looks bright and fun the bee workers will have to work tirelessly to ensure that there is enough honey for their queen.

HOW IT WORKS

Gina has become the queen bee and will reign over this task. She has picked Charlie to become the guard bee. The rest of the housemates become the worker bees.

A series of orders for honey will be placed by Big Brother over the course of the two days. Big Brother will state a target amount of honey jars which must be produced at the end of the shift. However, Big Brother will also state that they will be given treats in exchange for any extra honey jars that are produced. This will be a secret from the worker bees, so it is at the queen and workers’ discretion how hard the workers will work. Big Brother can ask for more honey at any point.

Big Brother might, for example, call the queen bee to ask for an order of 100 jars of honey. However, Big Brother says that if the queen’s workers make 150 jars, the queen and her guards will receive a luxury meal. The workers will not be privy to this call, so the queen must decide whether or not to selfishly request 150 jars for her own treat, or just to stick to the obligatory 100.

Queen
Gina is the Queen Bee, being the queen means that she is the head of the hive, and will not partake in the honey assembly line. Instead they will have to be treated like a goddess by the other bees. Her throne will have view onto the production line so that she can see the workers, and they can see her luxurious lifestyle.

Guards
Charlie has been chosen by Gina to become a guard, whose job it is to keep the workers in order. The guard, along with the queen tell the workers how many jars they must produce a day. They can also lie to the house to get the workers to work longer for the extra treats.

Worker Bees
The worker bees will have to work continuously, taking only strict scheduled breaks and eating basic rations. They will also have to carry out any tasks which involve looking after the queen. The workers will be wearing shock pads which the queen bee will control. The queen can give the workers a shock, if she doesn’t feel that they are working hard enough.

TASKS

The workers will be separated into teams to do different tasks on the honey production line.

DAY 1

Honey Producing Plant

The worker bee’s work together to produce honey. One worker bee stands on a raised platform filled with sticky honey. They walk in circles pushing a bar that stirs the honey and pushes it out through taps further along the assembly line. Other worked bees are stood next to conveyor belt waiting for jars and honey to come from the taps.

When the first worker bee has done enough turns, honey spurts out from taps. At the same time jars are fed along a conveyor belt. Worker bees need to grab the jars and fill them from the taps.

The speed of the honey and amount of jars can differ, making it easier or harder on the housemates.

Why indeed, Stinky, if we were as crazy as the loons with their unrealistic take on what is really happening in the house, we might say Gina is the bosses daughter... :-?

That could be true thoum its a lot cheaper keeping her in there rather than shelling tens of thousends a month on hotels and top range push up bras.

Day 56: Hazel - 'It's a big targeting fest'

Have Gina's actions in today's task pushed Hazel too far?
www.channel5.com

Listen to Hazel say Dexter would not have done that if she had been looking at him - that is because Dexter is still acting like he is Hazel's friend, to her face...

the editors will be working as we speak to make Hazel the culprit in the task.

Because they know she wouldn't do the task if she had to work for someone else, & they couldn't have their chosen winner being portrayed like that now could they? They also probably thought that she would choose their 2nd favourite, Sophie, to be the guard, so that bit backfired. Imagine the uproar if Hazel had been chosen as Queen bee!

I don't like Hazel, but I deeply dislike Gina, & I think that BB have gone way too far this year & their favouritism for Gina, & active bullying of Hazel is absolutely despiccable & they should be ashamed of themselves! :8o:

Yesterday housemates successfully jarred Big Brothers orders.

For the first hit housemates jarred 250 jars of honey.

Gina and Charlie picked the higher number of jars for housemates to complete and successfully singled out Hazel’s poor performances. This earned a special dinner that was cooked by other worker bees.

For the third order Gina and Charlie picked 400 jars which meant Gina was awarded a phonecall from her boyfriend.

SHOPPING TASK DAY 2
‘Busy Bees
'

Buzzing Bees
Worker Bees have been woken up and told they need to become ‘Busy Bees’. Pedometers are attached to elbow pads and headbands. All housemates must ‘Buzz Around’ as much as possible. If Big Brother thinks that their combined score is high enough, more money will be added to the shopping budget.

After a long and draining day for the worker bees, it’s The Queen Bee and Guard Bee’s chance to work hard. They will take part in a sticky assault course.

From A to Bee – The Queen Bee and Guard Bee are sat on a spinning round-a-bout whilst being given various clues about a housemate. E.g. Her most embarrassing moment was..., Gina described her as ‘a smelly bitch’ etc. When they think they have the answer, they will jump off the roundabout into the sticky hive. At the end of the hive, the right answer has to be shouted out, or money will be deducted from the final shopping budget.

Don't you just love Hazel given it to Gina, about time too.
Hazel is reacting, rightly, to the very obvious position she has been put in so the bullying of her can continue.

BB down with the lunatics or what!?

Gina taking on more than she could chew ... loved that Hazel just kept applying the makeup all the way through that, the two faced comment hit Gina hard hence she moved and waved her finger ... but mores the point why was Sam laid on Charlies belly while she played with his hair???

I didnt like Sophie giving Gina an easy way out of the arguement, made it very clear whos side she is on, but we know that anyway.
