Day 63: The Biggest Twist Yet
Image

Housemates may currently have their hands full as they wrestle with the all-action Rescue Squad task for this week's shopping budget. But they may need to brace themselves – and you might need to too.

We've heard secrets this series and we've also been told some lies - but we're about to see the biggest secret so far unveiled and one heck of a porker uncovered at the same time!

We'll let you in on the basics. A big twist is coming later today. This one will dramatically change the outcome of the entire series. It may well affect the prize fund. It may also make some of the housemates very happy and it might also make others very sad. Whatever happens, it will certainly change the dynamic in the House from today, right up until the final.

We'd love to tell you more, but we can't give away all our secrets too early. We'll have all the action exclusively on the website, so keep tabs on the site, check Facebook and keep checking Twitter to keep up to speed with what's undoubtedly going to be this series' biggest twist so far!

Day 63: The Big Pay Off

The big twist is upon us!

Our four nominated housemates have been told that they're about to face a very, very important dilemma.

Big Brother is prepared to pay off our remaining HMs in cold, hard cash to leave the show tonight. The question is, what's the lowest amount of money they'll be willing to take in order to leave the process?

One by one, in a random order chosen by the housemates, the four evictees will come to the small task room. Inside they'll be faced with a dramatically lit wall of figures. The wall will be covered in removable boards, each with a different amount of money written on it - ranging from a quid to £100,000. The four evictees must each choose the lowest amount they'd be prepared to take in order to clear off this very evening.

Housemates are going to have to think about how much money they want to receive, how much they think others will take and, even more than that, how much they want to stay to the final. The lower they go, the more likely they are to win, but the less money they'll leave with and their BB experience will end rather abruptly.

Each of our four nominated housemates will then place their chosen cash-piles inside a briefcase before being gathered in the living area where they'll stand behind a podium. One by one, they'll open their briefcases to reveal the amount of money they've chosen.

How low can you go housemates... and when you said you wanted to make it to the final, exactly how much did you mean it?

Tune into Bit on the Side tonight on C5, 11pm when a big twist will be revealed.

Key highlights from tonight’s show:

• Day 1 of the shopping task ‘Save the Shopping’ has begun. Housemates are woken by Rihanna’s SOS playing and are quickly gathered to receive their instructions.
• Dressed in their uniforms and ready for action, Jack and Joe are the first to stand guard at Rescue HQ (tree house). Their first action is to defend themselves against the terror of a wasp.
• Sam and Gina have to save the shopping from a laser in the sewer after freeing themselves from being taped to a chair. Housemates are watching on the screen from the sofas.
• After Charlie and Sam successfully diffuse the bomb on Main Street, housemates are treated to Tweets from fans.
• Gina is not impressed with the tweet in which a Charlie fan calls her sly. Gina believes she is upfront not sly at all.
• Dexter and Sam are on the sofas discussing the fan tweets. Dexter is worried that fans may not be seeing all sides to him in the house, he considers himself eccentric not a weirdo.
• Sophie tells Joe at Rescue HQ that she will be jealous of next year’s contestants. She is trying to get Joe motivated about being in the house, to take advantage of his last five days.
• Charlie asks Dexter about being part of his game plan but then tells him she doesn’t believe she is. Dexter is irritated that she STILL doesn’t trust him and STILL doesn’t know how much he cares about her.

Key quotes from tonight’s show

1. Gina is in the diary room telling Big Brother how pleased she is with the task uniform.

Gina “I think it is so cool. I feel like a power ranger…I love it. It really fits well and its figure hugging. Yeah!”

2. Jack is in the diary room talking about Joe’s sulky mood.

Jack “I really want to stay to the final and I am really excited about the opportunity of going to the final. But I don’t know what is wrong with Joe he is in some depressed mood…He is just moping about…It feels like someone has died in the family…We are grateful to be here…I want to tell him to get a grip.”

3. Sam is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about his task with Gina.

Sam “She is a strong girl…she is really fun to work with…we are both very astute.

Big Brother “Do you think you would make a good superhero Sam?”

Sam “Yes. I have saved many lives in the past but I can’t talk about it…I am super fit! When I go to the gym and I go on the running machine the treadmill gets tired.”

4. Dexter and Joe are whiling away their duty at Rescue HQ by discussing the fan tweets.

Dexter “It’s nice to know that they think I am humble. I suppose that was a nice comment. You have to take everything with a pinch of salt.”

Joe “I am not going to lie when they came on we were are these real or fake?”

5. Gina and Sophie begin their shift in Rescue HQ and the fan tweets are on their mind, one in particular.

Gina “It just makes me wonder that tweet…she was obviously bitching about me with Hazel and stuff, saying that I am sly.”

Sophie “I was thinking that she must have said your sly…clearly she has said it because why would they just choose sly.”

Gina “From everyone here I think she is the slyest. How can you let someone massage you, feel you up and then nominate them in the same week? That is sly. F**k off about sly.”

6. Charlie is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about her tweet that mentioned Gina.

Charlie “I don’t know exactly why that was said but I have a feeling why. I have never said that Gina was sly. I feel nervous to talk to Gina because she said if I say one more thing that is taken the wrong way where I don’t think before I speak she doesn’t want to talk to me ever again. So the pressure, naturally I am more nervous about slipping up in front of Gina…I am least comfortable and least myself around her in here.”

Did they show that twist live? If not, then why not I wonder?

I'm annoyed that Dexter is no longer up. Now Sophie has replaced him (why oh why couldn't it have been Gina??), it is going to be between the twins and Charlie to go & I don't want either of those to go. Although I want Sophie to go, I can't see other people thinking the same. :-?

Day 63: A twist within a twist

Dexter pretending he had a difficult time choosing who to replace him.
Sophie loves him so she will be okay with his choice. ::lol:: ::lol::

Day 63: The Big Pay Off has repercussions

A wise man once said, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We're writers, here, not physicists, so we're not entirely sure how to apply that to the way the House reacted to tonight's Big Pay Off twist. Instead, we'll say this: Dexter is being questioned left, right and centre on his motives.

If you watched the videos (and if you didn't, stop right there, rewind and get them watched pronto!) you'll have seen that Dexter went for the £88,800. When the amounts were revealed, it was revealed that Dexter chose the lowest amount, and would therefore leave with £88,800 of the £100,000 prize fund.

Except, this was a LIE! Dexter's actual prize was a free pass to the final, and he got to choose someone to replace him on the eviction chopping block this Friday.

Understandably, the House is now full of speculation. Charlie and Dexter had one of their deep chats, which largely consisted of Charlie wondering "is he the game player everyone said?" and reasoning that she believed Dexter had gone for a purposeful 'steal', while herself and Sam had chosen the highest possible figures to ensure they stayed on.

Charlie said "it was a high enough amount to walk away with a s**tload of money, and low enough to be the lowest amount [chosen]...I can't understand where your head is!" Sam chipped in "you're full of s**t" to Dexter, which is a more concise way of putting it, we suppose...

Interestingly, nobody seems to be picking up on the fact that the twins also could have chosen a higher amount for safety's sake, but opted for £96,850. Jack and Joe themselves have weighed in on the issue, blasting Dexter. Joe said "he's been playing a game since Day 1!"

With Sophie in agreement with the consensus, it seems the only housemate on Dexter's side is Gina. So, not for the first time, we're seeing a Ginxter alliance against accusations of deviousness and ruthless game playing.

Day 63: Housemates react to The Big Pay Off twist

The twist is over, housemates can relax. But were they happy with the final result? Watch to find out

Day 63: Sam - 'You're a game player, you've been caught out'

Looks like Dexter can't escape the full brunt of earliers actions. This time, Sam has a few choice words for Dexter.

Day 63: Charlie questions Dexter's motives behind the pay off

A quiet lull of civil banter took effect straight after tonight's big twist, but it wasn't too long until someone was unhappy ...

Charlie, if you needed any more prove that Dexter is a player you got it last night.
