1. Dexter and Jack manning Rescue HQ and speculating about the task.
Jack “So, when do you think the big twist will be revealed?” Dexter “I dunno, there might not even be one.” Jack “Maybe it could be the money thing, maybe just a twist of money.”
2. Sam is in the prize fund chamber facing the wall of cash amounts.
Sam “I wanna get one thing straight, I do not want to leave, therefore I’m going to pick a high number, I don’t care about the money. So if I pick the highest number there’s obvious chance that someone can pick a lower number than me, and then leave.”
3. Dexter is in the prize fund chamber facing the wall of cash amounts.
Dexter “You can’t put a prize on how much my experience is worth so I just have to go with the numbers that are lucky and will keep me in the process.”
4. Dexter has chosen Sophie to replace him and face the public vote. Charlie tells him that she thought he would take the lowest and leave the house.
Dexter “I thought you would take the pound and go, because you care so much about everybody.” Charlie “And go, you’re joking, I don’t wanna leave, the thing is why did you pick low, did you wanna take that and leave. Dexter “Cos I was looking at the pattern, there was a certain way the numbers were done.”
5. Sam tells Dexter that he knew he was doing during the task.
Sam “If you came in here really selfless and you came in here to ‘change yourself’ and you don’t give a f**k about the money you would have just taken the ninety-nine.”
6. Dexter, Charlie and Gina are in the bedroom. Dexter is explaining actions during the task. Sam exits the bathroom, heads to the garden and brands Dexter’s words as “full of s**t.”
Gina (laughs) “I can’t believe he just said that.” Dexter “A*se, bothered, if he wants to say it, you (Charlie) wanna say it that’s fine, nobody knows what was taken, at the end of the day I’m a risk taker, that’s fine.”
7. At the smoking area, Dexter tells some of the housemates that he doesn’t want to have “negative vibes” directed at him.
Charlie “But, you can see why you’re having them though. If you thought you knew me and I turned around and did what you did, you would definitely question me?” Dexter “I’d still stand by you though.”
8. Dexter is in the diary room. He says he was feeling okay until Sam decided to “grow a set” and Charlie now starting to “doubt” him.
Dexter “If he’s (Sam), definitely not in here for the money or title why should my decision bother him so much, that is what makes me doubt his thought processes as well. You can’t do wrong for doing right in this place.”
