Ava is being bundled into a taxi by her son Dexter so she can take up some random new job in Newcastle where, incidentally, she doesn’t even have a place

Whatever happened to Ava being a deputy head teacher?

Whatever happened to giving notice on your rent, cancelling the gas and electric, or saying goodbye to your own mother for that matter?

Tonight Ava is being bundled into a taxi by her son Dexter so she can take up some random new job in Newcastle, where, incidentally, she doesn’t even have a place to stay yet.

No matter.

When EastEnders wants to get shot of a character, they really don’t hang about, do they?
