DAY 39 HIGHLIGHTS

It’s the half way point for the Housemates and little do they know the changes Big Brother has in store

Last night Mark and Christopher kissed in the store room. Mark wakes up with a hangover and says he “feels regretful” Ash talks to Chris and observes that Mark and Christopher make an “unlikely” pairing

Mark tells Big Brother that he “was a bit merry last night and by merry, I do mean drunk…I hope I haven’t made a show of myself” He goes on to say that he has “no regrets…I don’t regret anything. I came in here to have a full experience and just throw myself in to it so no, I’m not going to regret nothing”

Mark, Ash and Winston discuss how Helen and Ashleigh have now made up and how their relationship has changed.

Christopher talks to Steven about Mark and admits that “in the outside world we would never have met…I would have thought he’s over the top and would drive me up the wall” He goes on to say that he would see him on the outside but admits that he doesn't think they will get together and do a “you and Kimberly” in the House. They go on to discuss how Mark is quite closed on certain subjects, such as relationships saying that “there are many things with Mark that are off limits”

Christopher and Mark discuss what happened last night. Mark says that he sometimes forgets that there are cameras in the House and Christopher reassures him that he didn’t say anything wrong

Danielle and Ashleigh discuss nominations. Danielle says, “I know if I’m the only girl up, I’m scre*ed” Ashleigh thinks that you would need to do something to annoy the public to be voted out. When Danielle finishes the conversation abruptly, this visibly annoys Ashleigh

Christopher talks to Big Brother about his relationship with Mark and admits that despite wanting to kill him half the time, there’s something “quite loveable” about him. He goes on to say they are “like an old married couple, long before our time”, noting that Mark “calls all the shots” but adds that he “likes me more than he’ll admit to anyone in here”

Ash tells Helen that earlier Mark confided in him and told him that he and Christopher had kissed last night.

Danielle, Marlon and Christopher speculate that Big Brother will introduce a new Housemate. Christopher believes that any new person would “have to be tough to come in here…this House would plague them. This House would rip them and interrogate them and pull them to shreds” Danielle says that she would be fine with a new person coming in, “as long as they’re not a douche!”

Winston and Mark discuss Marlon and his sulking. Mark observes that he would make sure he was having fun if he’d saved himself from eviction and Winston suggests that it would be better if he just stuck two fingers up and said, “Fu*k it, I’ve saved myself!”

In the garden, Chris sings ‘Blue Moon’ to the sky before joining the rest of the Housemates in the bedroom where they discuss how quiet the House is now there are only 11 of them left. When the lights go out, Mark suggests that Christopher should sleep in his own bed

ZOE BIRKETT

AGE: 29
FROM: DURHAM
BUBBLY MUSICAL THEATRE STAR

Zoe describes herself as ‘a real life walking Pocahontas’ and the British version of Beyoncé.

She has just recently finished performing in the West End musical Thriller: Live and was once the
‘little podgy kid from Pop Idol with the dreadlocks.’

Zoe is very close to her family but admits they are ‘bonkers’. She runs ‘every little thing past
them and if they don’t agree, then I won’t do it.’ She says they keep her ‘humble and sane’

Since leaving home, she has always lived alone and can’t imagine sharing a house, even if she
gets married. She admits to being the ‘worst snorer in the world.’

Zoe is passionate about life and classes herself as ‘a massive joker who lives and breathes music’.
She tries hard not to ever be negative as she believes ‘you’re born and you die and it’s all about
the middle bit and what you do with it.’

She thinks her best personality trait is being funny and having a ‘good energy which can lift other
people’s moods.’ Her worst trait is that she gets bored very quickly and always needs people to
bounce off. She has, ‘absolutely no patience’, and thinks that this could be problematic in the
house.

When it comes to men, Zoe says she has a definite type; tanned skin, dark hair with tattoos. She
dated Anthony Hutton from Big Brother 6 for six years but since then hasn’t had any other
serious relationships. Zoe has always been faithful but admits to always being the dumper in her
relationships.

Zoe gets on best with positive and interesting people who aren’t in the same business as her and
would struggle to get on with ‘beige people’ and those who ‘don’t grab life by the horns.’

Zoe thinks she would be a fun, energetic housemate who is full of banter. She says she is a ‘gay
man trapped inside a woman’s body.’

She thinks it will be hard for her to win because she is joining the show half way through. She
believes she could but it will be harder because ‘people have made relationships and the public
probably already have their favourites’.

PAVANDEEP PAUL

AGE: 22
FROM: ESSEX
PROPERTY MANAGER

‘Cheeky, resourceful and tactile’ ladies’ man, Pav, comes from an affluent background and has a
traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and ‘show them that Sikhs are
liberal loving people who know how to have fun.’

Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught
to respect everyone. He has been taught to ‘stand my ground, protect my religion and always
stand up for myself.’

Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially.
Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he ‘won’t have an arranged
marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are.’

He currently lives with his family and enjoys living at home. He wouldn’t have it any other way,
‘we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me.’

Pav works for the family business in property where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle.
He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a ‘fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in
the photo-copy room’.

He is currently single although he hasn’t been for very long. His ex was his best friend from
university but they split up because they were more friends than girlfriend and boyfriend. He
says, ‘Put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t wa*k over a personality”

Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit and says, ‘I’m a shallow man, looks are important to me
and a strong fashion sense’. He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in
someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on.

Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He thinks he would get on particularly well with
Mark as he is always looking for fun. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing
mischief.

Pav is 100% certain that he will win the show because he’s genuine and he will be doing it for the
Sikhs

Find out who nominated who – and why!

This week’s nominations had more significance than the housemates could have possibly imagined, with the unlucky soul – that would be Mr Marlon - who received the most being unceremoniously dumped out of the House. True to Big Brother’s word, Armageddon week has already changed things forever. Here are the housemates’ nominations and reasons...

Ash...

Nomination 1: Ashleigh

Ash said Ashleigh never apologised when he found out that she’d been bitching about him and acted as if she didn’t even care.

Nomination 2: Danielle

Danielle is the person Ash would least like to spend time with in the House.

Ashleigh...

Nomination 1: Ash

Ashleigh said that Ash never comforts her and doesn’t seem to understand how other people might be feeling in the House.

Nomination 2: Kimberly

Ashleigh is only friends with her because of Danielle and she wouldn’t even notice if Kim left the House.

Chris...

Nomination 1: Steven

Chris thinks Steven is rude because he never listens.

Nomination 2: Marlon

Chris is convinced Marlon is a good person but thinks he spends too much time in bed not speaking to anyone.

Christopher...

Nomination 1: Marlon

Christopher thinks that Marlon should have taken his nomination like a man and faced the public vote.

Nomination 2: Ash

Christopher feels that Ash is too easily led by Helen and doesn’t really have a voice of his own.

Danielle...

Nomination 1: Ash

Danielle is offended by Ash’s language and thinks he was disloyal to Marlon.

Nomination 2: Chris

Danielle doesn’t like the way that Chris always disagrees with the points she makes and doesn’t like some of his views on religion.

Helen...

Nomination 1: Marlon

Helen thought Marlon was selfish when he saved himself last week and didn’t like the way he moped around the House afterwards.

Nomination 2: Ashleigh

Despite getting on well during the Task on Saturday, Helen thought Ashleigh has been nasty and spiteful.

Kimberly...

Nomination 1: Marlon

She thought Marlon didn’t consider the other housemates when saved himself but she is disappointed that she had to make this nomination.

Nomination 2: Ashleigh

Kimberly feels that Ashleigh doesn’t respect her and thinks she has made some inappropriate comments about her relationship with Steven.

Mark...

Nomination 1: Marlon

Mark lost respect for Marlon when he saved himself and thinks he is alienating himself from the group.

Nomination 2: Kimberly

Mark feels that Kimberly has developed the least since coming into the House and that by week 6 he should have a stronger emotional connection to her.

Marlon...

Nomination 1: Mark

Marlon doesn’t agree with Mark’s view that he is sly and a game player.

Nomination 2: Winston

Marlon thought Winston was his closest friend but feels he hasn’t given him the chance to explain his decision to save himself. Marlon feels like he can’t speak to him anymore.

Steven...

Nomination 1: Marlon

Steven didn’t agree with Marlon’s decision to save himself and thinks that he needs to integrate himself back into the group.

Nomination 2: Ashleigh

Steven disliked the comments Ashleigh made about his relationship with Kimberly but thinks she won’t take this nomination personally.

Winston...

Nomination 1: Marlon

Winston didn’t like the side he saw to Marlon last week and thinks he is selfish.

Nomination 2: Danielle

Winston thinks that Danielle didn’t stand up for Ashleigh when Helen was confronting her about the comments she made behind Helen’s back.

Is Winston available for Biannca?
New housemate Biannca has made no secret of the fact she has the hots for our Winston. But does he feel the same about her? Watch the Essex housemates flirt outrageously…channel5.com

Someone must have told Biannca she was going in to the local knocking shop not the BB house.
I don't know how lower BB is going to descend before Ofcom steps in and gets the show AXED,

‘I’ll have sex with Winston in the house’ says new BB babe Biannca
IT LOOKS like Steven and Kimberly won’t be the only pair romping in the Big Brother house, as newbie Biannca Lake is set to turn the series into even more of a sex fest.

‘Where’s your morals?’ BB newbie Zoe blasts Kimberly and Steven over romps
FADED Pop Idol star Zoe Birkett has vowed to stop the late night sex sessions of horny Big Brother housemates Steven Goode and Kimberly Kisselovich, as she entered the house for a second stab at fame on Monday night.

By Ash Percival www.dailystar.co.uk

Zoe needs to have her morality chat with the over enthusiastic romping
female she entered the house with last night before she moves on to Steven and Kim...

Task - On the Ledge & Fool the House‏

OVERVIEW
It’s Old Vs New as the Housemates go head to head to win back better living standards.

HOW IT WORKS
Yesterday Armageddon hit the Big Brother House taking away the Housemates creature comforts and bringing some un-invited and possibly unwelcome guests.

From today (Tuesday), it’s old vs new. If old Housemates want to win themselves some better living conditions or a hot meal, they’ll have to take on the newbies head to head. If new Housemates win, they’ll get even better rewards than they already have.

DAY 1: TUESDAY
ON THE LEDGE
The old Housemates are positioned on a platform surrounded by murky water. Behind them is a wall which will move forward and force them off the ledge when powered by one of the newbies who is cycling to pull the wall forward. By the end of the game, when time runs out, they must have at least X number of Old Housemates still standing on the ledge to win. However, the New Housemates are standing on the ground doing everything they can to knock them off. The New Housemates will be armed with whole tinned tomatoes, gungey sponges and water balloons to throw a that Housemates to try to dislodge them from the ledge.

If the New Housemates win they will get a reward.
If the Old Housemates win they will win slightly better living conditions.

FOOL THE HOUSE
As the New Housemates have knowledge of the outside world and how the current Housemates have been perceived, they must take part in a Diary Room quiz against the other Housemates to try and score points.

The three new arrivals will read statements about the Original Housemates (these could be from newspaper stories – not headlines or quotes). The old Housemates will be watching on the plasma in the Living Area. The Original Housemates must decide if the statement the New Housemate is reading is True or a Lie. They must all agree and indicate their decision by flipping their voting panels which read either TRUE or LIE.

If the new Housemates can correctly fool the current Housemates into believing what they have said they majority of times, they will win.
If the current Housemates can correctly identify the true and false statements the majority of times, they will win.
