HIGHLIGHTS:
The Housemates are awoken by the shopping task, The Power of Positivity, where they have to remain positive or risk living on basic rations.
Toya and Steven are the Power Police and must ensure that the housemates are happy at all times.
Big Brother invites Toya and Steven to the Diary Room to explain the next shopping task, which is for the HM’s to ‘ROFL’ (Roll On The Floor Laughing) until told to stop by Big brother. Toya and Steven must shout encouraging messages to the HM’s through loudspeakers.
Jales leads a positivity meditation with Ash, Mark and Chris which they all enjoy.
Pauline and Tamara have a conversation about Christopher and his intrusiveness.
Christopher feels if he talks to Helen about their relationship he might be ‘ostracised’.
Some of the housemates speculate about Matthew’s girlfriend and what he’s like in the outside world. Helen thinks that Matthew is smitten with his girlfriend and she is probably a ‘proper fitty’.
Christopher tells Matthew and Mark that he finds some of the comments that Helen has made towards Danielle upsetting.
The next part of this week’s shopping task is ‘Happy Go Lucky’, a game-show where Ashleigh, Ash, Kimberly and Marlon play to reclaim each other’s suitcases. Marlon had to publicly rate which HM’s he would least like to see evicted on Friday. His answers were Jale, Tamara and Danielle. Ashleigh had to give herself a Durian fruit facial, which is the foulest smelling fruit on earth. Kimberly then had to read her out her recent nominations word for word to the HM’s. Ash was then asked to rank the female housemates on their sex appeal starting from the least attractive. He ranked them Jale, Pauline, Danielle, Ashleigh, Toya, Tamara and finally Helen! Marlon had to pass the ‘Deep Cleanse’ category by pouring fish juice over his head whilst wearing only swimming trunks. Mark was nearly sick from the smell. By remaining positive they have passed this part of the shopping task.
Marlon has a conversation with Danielle, clearing up any bad feeling about his nominating her. He says that he would rather she left the house instead of being singled out and picked on.
Kimberly, Jale and Chris have a conversation about Danielle and how she has given up.
The final part of the Power of Positivity shopping challenge is the ‘Un-fun Fair’. The teams are Mark and Tamara, Winston and Danielle and Matthew and Pauline. They will be taking part in the gungy course, all they have to do is remain positive and collect smiley tokens along the way. After a few eye-watering moments, the teams succeed in collecting all 18 tokens.
Big Brother told the HM’s that they had 5 fails over the last 48 hours, including Mark crying when make-up was removed from the house and Ashleigh not drinking her cocktail during happy hour. Big Brother revealed that they had an allowance of 10 fails ensuring their victory and winning a luxury shopping budget and a take-away.
QUOTES:
Steven and Pauline chat and Pauline says that she thinks ‘the two most selfish people in the house are Chris and Jale’ and Steven says, ‘in the next 48 to 72 hours, it is going to kick off in this house’.
Helen says that Christopher’s face has started to annoy her and that it was ‘smug’. Toya joins the conversation and says that if Helen and Pauline have a problem with Christopher they should say it to his face or ‘shut the f**k up’.
Pauline has a conversation with Helen where Helen calls Christopher, ‘an annoying ******* wasp’, and complains that he never washes up. She later calls him a ‘two-faced f**k’.
Christopher tells Big Brother he is still upset about how Pauline spoke to Jale but didn’t want to bring it up as he didn’t want to start a war. He feels that Mark and Pauline are ‘becoming a double act’.
During the take-away Pauline says to Winston that, ‘Christopher is a ******* t**t’.
Danielle apologises to Helen for her behaviour. Danielle says: ‘I reacted because I felt that maybe I’m not right for this show, I’m not as fun as other people and it takes me a while to come out of my shell’. Helen admits the house is like a ‘pressure cooker’ and they way she spoke to Danielle was ‘disgusting’.
