Nominations shocker - who has the Power Alliance chosen?
She's only one day into her new role as Power Housemate and Ashleigh has already caused quite a stir in the House. Who has she - along with her Power Alliance buddy - chosen to face the public vote?

To clarify, the alliance will continue to grow tomorrow and more Housemates will face eviction this week.

The Power has returned and is more powerful than ever!

Last night, Ashleigh became the new Power Housemate and today, a powerful alliance will begin to form.

Ashleigh will be asked to pick an ally to join her as the Power Housemate. This ally will be immune from nomination and between them they will choose their first Housemate to nominate for eviction.

All Housemates will be gathered and Big Brother will announce the first person nominated for eviction.

The two allies will choose a third person to join the alliance. Together they will select a second person to nominate for eviction.

Day 46 Highlight Show - Power trip

Later today the Housemates will be headlining their very own festival, Bruvstock. In the Diary Room, an excited Mark tells Big Brother that the task looks “so much fun” and goes on say, “I would love a long black straight wig with a headband and some John Lennon glasses…”

Last night, Helen and Ash were intimate under the covers. In the kitchen, Steven talks to Ash and asks for “a full update immediately!” Ash assures that they are only friends but Winston suggests that they will end up getting married. Ash denies this “one million percent” and says, “it’s not a fu*king relationship…we just had a fu*king snog!”

For today’s task, Big Brother put on its own music festival, Bruvstock, with the Housemates becoming the headline acts. Mark and Zoe are chosen as the ‘front men’ and choose who they want in their band. Pointedly, Mark doesn’t choose Christopher, leaving him a little dejected on the sidelines.

Mark, Helen, Winston, Chris and Steven become The Bi*ch and the Boys and will sing Mr. Brightside, while Zoe, Ashleigh, Ash,
Christopher and Pav become 1BV and will sing You’ve Got The Love
Chris and Zoe put their professional training to good use and attempt to teach the other Housemates various vocal exercises and dance moves…that they struggle to follow! Meanwhile, an irate Mark overhears Zoe practicing and comments that “She’s giving it fu*king Mariah Carey’s in that room…Whitney Houston’s reborn and she’s in the fu*king living room. I’m fuming…this isn’t funny!”

The first band to perform is 1BV. As Zoe takes the lead vocal, Steven remarks that they “are going to get whipped” but Chris insists “we all sing though…” with Helen adding, “I think ours is fu*king good!”

Next to perform is Bi*ch and the Boys who put on a “mesmerising and energetic” performance but their vocals leave a lot to be desired

The Bi*ch and the Boys are crowned overall winners and will be rewarded with a VIP after party. Big Brother informs them that they can invite two more ‘groupies’ to attend the party and they choose Ash and Zoe, meaning only Christopher, Pav and Ashleigh won’t join them.

In the kitchen, Ashleigh moans to Chris after she wasn’t chosen to join the VIP after party and snaps, “I put in loads of fu*king effort…I deserve a party!” She goes on to discuss Helen, who she overheard influencing who went to the party and says, “I was going ‘shut the fu*k up you di*k’…she hasn’t changed since day one”

Despite not being chosen to join Mark’s band or the VIP party, a cheery Christopher tells Big Brother that he thought Mark “looked pretty amazing” on stage and goes on to describe him as a “probably the funniest person I’ve met in my life” When asked how it feels to be on the losing team, Christopher says that he feels “a little bit gutted” and goes on to explain that Mark doesn’t like to share his feelings, adding “he’ll do everything he can to distance himself from me romantically…but it would be nice to know he wanted me to be there.”

While the majority of the Housemates enjoy the VIP after party, Ashleigh, Christopher and Pav talk in the House. Christopher asks if the winning team “even considered inviting me?” and seems satisfied that Mark and Chris did. Ashleigh’s still not happy and mimics Helen saying “’she doesn’t even drink’…she wants to be Zoe’s best friend”

Ashleigh is called to the Diary Room where Big Brother tells her that the Power is about to return to the House and that the public has chosen her as the new Power Housemate. She is told she must keep this a secret and Big Brother will give her more information in 24 hours.

As the after party comes to an abrupt end, the Housemates are all called to the sofas. Big Brother informs them that the Power has returned to the House and “this time, there will be nowhere to hide and no escape, it will be more powerful than ever before” Helen speculates that Biannca could be the new Power Housemate.

Housemates are playing a game of I Have Never. After Winston says that he has never had the Power, Christopher leaves to find Mark, closely followed by Ashleigh who explains she is potentially leaving the game, laughing as she goes. A quizzical Helen observes.

Winston asks Ashleigh what her theory is on the new Power Housemate. Ashleigh says, “I hope I go before I get it...I wouldn’t want it...I would stress far too much with it…I think if they were to give it to me it would have been at the start…I would of loved it back then...I would love it now as well”

Chris talks to Big Brother about the new Power Housemate, likening some of the Housemates to swans, and says, “Those people who you think are the most protected and innocent and special people here…are absolutely crapping themselves”.

Helen shares her concerns that the new Power Housemate could steal her finalist position and speculates that there is “a storm brewing”. She adds that if someone wants to take her position, “I won’t be very happy, but whatever…but I’d like to keep it”

Ash and Steven are talking about Helen. Ash says, “I feel like it’s just the same… We’re just like mates but then we just ended up kissing somehow…I always thought she was attractive”. When pressed on whether he could get into a relationship on the outside world with her, he says, “No comment…it kind of happened and it was decent, so then it happened again”.

Helen speculates that she could be leaving on Friday if her position to the final is taken from her. The conversation moves on to who she would give the Power to and Helen says of Ash, “I would give it to him any day, to make sure he was in the final” and continues to explain that it would depend on the situation, but ultimately if she had a choice to give her finalist away it would be to Ash or Steven.

Ashleigh talks to Chris about Helen and says she hopes her earlier conversation backfires on her and “whoever it is f*cking takes it off her.” Chris adds that Helen is her “own worst enemy”.

While some of the Housemates speculate that the public may have the Power, Pav predicts that one of the Housemates already has it. Meanwhile, in the Diary Room, Ashleigh tells Big Brother that she would like protect her friends, Mark, Chris and Christopher, but “can’t be too obvious” in her decisions, before laughing to herself

TASK - EX-TRA INFO‏

OVERVIEW

Today, power Housemate Ashleigh, along with her accomplices Mark and Chris, will be faced with more decisions to make.

HOW IT WORKS

Ashleigh, Mark and Chris will be called to the Diary Room. Whilst there, they will be informed that three of their ex-Housemates are willing to offer up their advice on who else the Power trio should put up for eviction.

One at a time Biannca, Matthew and Danielle will enter the Small Task Room. Each will be wearing a hidden earpiece and will be able to hear Ashleigh and her accomplices in the Diary Room. Ashleigh, Mark and Chris will be given one minute with each ex-Housemate. They can ask these ex-Housemates for advice on who else they should put up for eviction. The ex-Housemates will also be able to offer their advice on what they have seen since leaving the House.

Later today, all the Housemates except for Steven, Ash and Helen will be given the chance to plea as to why they should not be put up for eviction.

Biannca, Danielle and Matthew return to the House!
A trio of ex housemates are on hand to help the Power Alliance make their next big decision.

channel5.
Has anyone ever see/hear Pav or Zoe run back to the "in-crowd" and tell them what the backstabbers are saying!?
Matthew and Danielle once again have demonstrated how nasty and vile they are.

Poor Christopher, I so want him to win, Mark is treating him very badly. If Helen was treating Ash the way Mark is treating Christopher she would have to leave the country after the show. :naughty:

Don't read if you want to watch the show first

DAY 47 HIGHLIGHTS:

Yesterday, Big Brother revealed to Ashleigh that the public had selected her to be the next Power Housemate, unbeknown to the rest of the Housemates.

Some of the Housemates discuss the nominations and Mark suggests that if everyone was up for eviction, Steven would go first. An “offended” Steven jokes, “I appreciate your fu*king vote of confidence!” and Helen adds, “Well done Mark, you’ve started him off and it’s only Monday!”

Pav talks to Big Brother about his time in the House and reveals that he likes to split his time between the groups. He goes on to add that he doesn’t feel attached to anyone yet but “floats about and feeding on the energies of people that match mine”

Ashleigh tells Chris that Zoe suspects he could be the Power Housemate. Chris observes that Big Brother hasn’t actually revealed that there’s a secret Power Housemate just that the Power has returned to the House.

Ashleigh asks Chris a hypothetical question about how to handle the Power and he advises, “disengage, don’t be emotional about it…do it so there’s a good element of fun…pi*s people off but pi*s the right people off”

Helen and Ash discuss their sleeping arrangements and Ash suggests that they should top and tail so they can get a good night’s sleep. In the end, they both agree to create “The Great Wall of China” between them as a barrier, using pillows from Steven’s bed

Ashleigh is called to the Control Room and Iris reveals that she must form a secret Power Alliance and must choose one Housemate to join her. All Housemates in the Alliance will be immune from eviction and must work together to choose the Housemates that will face the public eviction. Ashleigh chooses Chris, as the first Housemate to join her and Big Brother advises her that the Alliance will grow over the coming days

Ashleigh invites Chris to the Pod where she reveals that she is the new Power Housemate. Helen interrupts, so the conversation is put on hold while they head downstairs to eat

Steven says that he would like to marry Kimberly but goes on to admit that he “gets carried away” by things. They joke about how they met and Helen quips, “you’d both have to shout ‘Top Sha**er!”

In the bedroom, Ashleigh tells Chris that she has chosen him to join her Power Alliance. They both agree to nominate Steven who Chris finds “annoying to the max…he’s constantly in a self referencing bubble” before adding, “it’s going to be curtains for Steve”

Newly recruited Power Housemate Chris tries to put some of the other Housemates off the scent by suggesting it could be “an audience thing” as they’ve not really been involved so far

Ashleigh is called to the Control Room where she reveals that Steven is the Power Alliance’s first nomination citing that “He talks about himself…he’ll ask people questions and doesn’t listen to their answers” Iris then reveals that Ashleigh must recruit one more Housemate to join the Alliance and, as a group, they must choose the next Housemate who will face eviction

Zoe, Mark and Ashleigh consult the tea leaves for clues about who the new Power Housemate and Mark sees “two eyes, a mouth and a nose” and recognises himself in the leaves! “I’m a little bit freaked out, but I’m made up…the public want me but lets not tell anyone as they think I’m crazy”

Ash talks to Big Brother about the Power returning to the House and admits that he’s “intrigued…I love all this Power malarkey…” He goes on to ask Big Brother to reveal some more information, eventually conceding that “you’re not going to tell me anything, are you?”

Following the tealeaf revelations, Zoe has a theory that the Power Housemate could be Pav because he also has “a strong prominent beard” A relieved Mark agrees and Ashleigh plays along with her best shocked expression

Big Brother gathers the Housemates in the seating area and reveals that Steven is the first Housemate to face this week’s public eviction. Steven is adamant that “this is the public” and that the only thing he hopes for if he is voted out on Friday is that the public reaction is better for him. He goes on to say that he wishes his hair was longer and then tells a reassuring Mark, that “if it was normal nominations, I just know I wouldn’t be put up.”

Ashleigh and Chris discuss their potential next ally, Mark. Chris remarks, “I think he is two faced – but, in the best possible way...his motive is not to hurt people...I think he could be a brilliant actor” They agree that it is a gamble but Ashleigh’s instinct on choosing Mark is pretty good, according to Chris.

Steven tells Ash and Helen that he knew he would face eviction this week adding, “I’m very grateful to come this far...I would like to get to the final and have the whole experience...I hope that the public’s perception is going to change, but I don’t think it will because I think s*it sticks, but it is what it is”.

Ashleigh and Mark discuss how they would cope with the Power and Mark says that he would be “the f*cking worst” adding, “Christopher would go to sh*t…Ash would cope with it too well…” When Mark returns from the bathroom, Ashleigh reveals that she and Chris have chosen him to join the Power Alliance, to which he excitedly responds “Oh my god, shut up really?” They go on to discuss who they could put up for eviction, predicting that it would “end up in a fight” if they nominated Ash. Mark also reveals, “I couldn’t choose Christopher as I’d look like a fu*king massive Judas”.

Ash and Steven quiz Christopher on his relationship with Mark. Christopher says that he probably doesn’t fancy Mark but Ash says, “Oh come on Chris, you’ve told us every night that you do after a couple of drinks” Christopher explains that if he saw him out then he probably wouldn’t look at him, but is attracted to him now because of his personality. Steven asks Christopher the vibe that he is getting from Mark and Christopher confirms that he doesn’t know because Mark “doesn’t talk about these kinds of things”

Mark goes to the Control Room to reveal who the Power Alliance has chosen to face the public eviction. He says, “I’m not ecstatic about it, I’m actually quite upset about it...really sadly, the person we’ve unfortunately had to nominate is Ash” adding, “I love the bones of Ash...It’s been really difficult, everyone on the board is my friend”.

Later in the evening, Big Brother reveals that the next Housemate to face the public eviction is Ash. Before revealing this, Ashleigh whispers, “I think it’s me, I think it’s me”. When Ash’s name is called, Helen gasps, “Oh my God”. The Housemates all hug and Helen suggests that “this week will be the worst for the Power thing…I think a load of us are going up”. In the garden, Steven observes that Mark was acting “very shady”

Ashleigh discusses the Power with Zoe and Mark who comments “Ash will be fine” and speculates that “Whoever’s up against Steven, is safe”

Steven tells Ash that he thinks Helen is the Power Housemate and thinks “Helen’s been asked to choose people to save as a finalist position” Steven comments that she’s been acting weird all day long and Chris agrees that she has been different today. But Ash disagrees and says “No way... Helen was so gutted when I went up”. Steven concludes that it is a possibility, but Ash knows Helen best.

Winston tells Big Brother that he has “a gut feeling” that Pav, the public or Mark could have the Power based on Pav’s reaction and Mark’s tealeaf reading. Steven also mentioned that Mark couldn’t look him in the eye.

Mark tries to reassure Ash that he will not leave on Friday as he’s up against Steven. He tells Ash that his “ranking on the ladder in here has completely changed.” Ash responds that it is a-lose-lose situation. Ashleigh agrees that she thinks Steven is going on Friday. They go on to discuss how the Big Brother prize money would be “life changing” for them both and reminds Ash that “it is a massive game...and it is the last few weeks.”

Steven and Ash discuss their nominations and Steven admits, “I want to be here for every single last moment but, at the same time, I do want to get out in the outside world”

The Power Alliance discusses their nominations and all agree that they’ve grown close to Ash. Chris observes that they are “making the best of a bad scenario” and Ashleigh admits that she thinks Helen will “throttle her”, when she finds out she has the Power.
