Channel 4 have signed a deal with the producers of Big Brother to broadcast the show until 2005. This also includes any Celebrity Big Brother shows.

According to Produxion, the ten contestants for the next series of Big Brother have already been chosen and insiders say this year there will be separate 'posh' and 'basic' sections of the Big Brother house. It is hoped the added competition of giving the 10 contestants the chance to upgrade their accommodation by performing well at their tasks will make for a less 'fluffy' and more 'bitchy' atmosphere.

Davina McCall will present the show, which is expected to be shown for 10 weeks from the end of May, and Dermot O'Leary will again present Big Brother's Little Brother on E4.
