Well looks like BB USA is going to be much better than UK BB, whihc lets face it isnt hard at all. Full off over the top americans, excellent twist and hopefully some action

Is anyone else going to be constantly tuned in to this version then??

The way American do things is a bit over the top and it's ok to watch Americans doing thoses thing.
I wouldn't however like to watch a british BB like that. Some points from it might be ok but not as a whole.

Has anyone else's "significant other" groaned at the prospect of another 2 months of constant big brother talk!!

still it eases us out of teh Big Brother mode untill next year. Although I wish is was teh german or sweedish Big Brother we were gonan be watchign instead of just the US one.. For obvious reasons

Erm.... no. Americans are not "over the top". They're simply free spirited. I have hundreds of American friends from when I lived over there and they're nothing of the sort. Also, why is it ok to watch Americans do "those things" and not British ?

It's precisely this attitude that is the reason BB has been so poor this year. "Toned down" reality tv that isn't a reality, just to suit the "great" British public. We're too prudish, to arrogant and too diluted.

Krazy.... totally agree with you there.... all the hype over HM's in UK that are gonan bonk... there is never gonna be a series where this happens simply cause the britih are to aware of teh cams, try to be all nicey nicey all teh time and would rather be fake and dull (cameron) instead of being themselves and making the most of the experience!

Difference between us and the Americans is that they will pull out all the stops to try and win. They wont feel embarrassed about saying they want to win nor will the public be angry with them for saying that want to win.

And good for them !! It is, after all, a gameshow.

so.....after pining for a couple to have sex on the UK BB, we slate a BB that will hit our screens, where a couple HAVE had sex?

If you want to watch two people having sex go rent a porn video or ask your friend if you could watch them whats the point can someone tell me why is everyone so bothered about some couples having sex in the bigbrother house boresville city.

with you on that one carlypops, not sure what the big deal is about a couple having sex on a reality tv show. It's 2003 and we're still foaming at the mouth over something like that?! i prefer to have sex than watch someone else. clash of personalities is FAR more interesting to watch, something the UK one is usually not too bad at. the main difference between UK TV and TV from other countries is that, despite the over-commercialism displayed by C4, our TV generally has an air of class and quality about it, whereas I always get the impression that US TV is cheap and over-dramatised (other than some of the ones we get here - then again we only get the cream of their TV they must have to put up with loads of Sh1te)

At the end of the day the girl will get called a slapper or worse ,the man will be one of the lads well you could see where it would all go.Maybe they could do a show called bigshagger were all contestants have to shag each other and the last two housemates have to shag each other no matter what sex maybe that would give people what they want .
