I haven't read the other posts yet but my take on BB USA is that is a very different show than ours. I was quite into it at the start (watching E4 today) thinking "oh wow, there is so much going on...... picking beds, food challenge, ex factor, head of house, etc" but then as I watched I realised that there is NO public influence..... boring!!!!! Part of the attraction of our BB is that we have some power ::lol:: It's a tv programme to watch not to interact with... very different.

I feel the same way Lyns.

Some things could work in the british BB but as a whole I prefer ours (as long as the HM's are decent)

I found it strange that there's no public vote. Endermol run the show over there too, and are missing out on millions of dollars! Why do we bother voting anyway?
Guess it's due to interstate time differences, the show goes out on CBS but think there may be a time lag in some areas? Not sure, apart from the UK version will be well behind what the USA is watching!

BB4.... my point is that they can do the whole vote thing with Pop Idol so they can do it with BB if they wanted to?

::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

I need a drink but I haven't got anything in. I was going to get a bottle of wine yesterday but decided against it. I haven't had a drink in ages, I thought I would cut down. But at the moment I feel like having a pint. It was BB4 fault going on about that he had pint earlier at one of the pubs.

I like wine and shorts but when I go out to a pub/bar I am definately pint or bottle girl.

Not sure what happens in the USA with Pop Idol, I don't watch it in the UK so I'm taking it they happily accept public votes here, but not over there? OR, they do vote over there, but for some reason they don't do it with their BB ?
I can supply the 1-900 numbers if they decided to do it!

I always have a lot of drink in the cupboard, not cos a drink to excess but like cocktail so you need lots of different spirits.

You name it I have it!

yes they did do the vote on pop idol and if voting all week the time difference doesnt mean a thing the only difference they do is they end the voting one day and give result the next so to allow for all the time differences so it could be done - only have brandy im afraid michelle
