Have just heard from a reliable friend who is an entertainment journalist (and incidently hates the tedious pointlessness of it all and wants to get into serious journalism) that half the stuff they're bleeping out of the live coverage is Spencer and Jade being really homophobic and offensive. Guess this comes under 'slander' mentioned before, but if they don't actually mention people (housemates, celebrities etc) then shouldn't they broadcast this anyway so we know what these people are really like?

In the first series, Nasty Nick's gross intollerance (which incurred the wrath of George Michael- ooh scary) was one of the main reasons everyone I know hated his guts.

It seems this is another, really overt, case of the producers influencing the public vote, and makes you wonder what else they're censoring 'for legal reasons'.

yeah we should be able to hear what they say so what people might be offended but atleast you know what they r really like. But if they dont say it then no one has any proof they actually said it!!

On the live feeds there has supposidly been many occasions where they have made these remarks and they have slipped through the censors.
