Just watched the video of last night's show ! I'm pleased that the judges favourite did not get through. Serves them right for attempting to influence the public like that !

I was pleased LaDonna didn't get in too.... not for any other reason other than she couldn't sing! I think it definitely was the weakest two who didn't get in. It was a bonus that she was the judges favourite and their very obvious attempts to influence didn't work.

but from reality tv youve always got that dick head darius and cameron to aspire to! i think fed is great though and pushes tickle all the way in terms of genius. what do your friends think of cameron?

My friends don't like Cameron either, most of them were Ray fans. But more or less every1 else seems to like Cameron!!

Anyway lets get back on to the subject of FA, don't want Annie giving us into trouble!

I prefered the show downs being at Shepperton, here it doesn't really give them a chance to perform as much.

There is gonna be a really good girl on wednesday show I think it is called Renatta and she has a brilliant voice. I'll be voting for her

On the bright side Jezi if the showdowns are in the Academy then the live feeds will come back quicker I also hope they show them getting ready on livefeeds like they did in Celebrity FA.

You know on the BBC3 extra show thing, well they have that new presenter, I wish they had brought back Dannan (no idea how you spell it!) and Vanessa cos they were really good!

dont like fame academy watched it just so I could have debate with sctolass but sorry no, cant stomach it also cant support programmes like this and pop idol which are destroying british music by looking for plastic artists were looks are more important than talent nah is not for me

I don't watch them either, I guess I am prejudiced because I feel like these type of programmes are not helping the British Music industry develop new creative talents. Now we have singers/boy - girl groups here today and gone tomorrow. I feel sorry for them because some are payed a pittance while the record companies/managers like Simon Callow get millions. These kids (they are only kids) hope for big careers but end up at the end of it all as nobodies. If you stray your eyes and ears across the pond they are coming out with new talent all the time, America and Canada are doing great at the moment, that used to be us, our music dominated the world now our groups/singers would be lucky to get a record in the top 20 in the American charts let alone the number one slot. The Americans and world wide audiences admire Sting, David Bowie, Beatles, Rollingstones, Elton John, Elvis Costello but these guys are either dead or getting too old now, there is on one to take their places. There is no young bands/singers whom are making any real explosions at the moment.

Pop Idol and Fame Academy are very different IMO. FA are looking for an all-rounder who can sing, play an instrument and write their own material. Only time will tell of course but I reckon the FA students will be around long after the PI one's.

If they are looking for people to do a bit of everything then that is good idea because if they fail at being singers then at least they could go in to something else such as writing or producing.
