Don't know about you lot but I think that the final 13 are appalling with a couple of notable exceptions.

I hope I'm proved wrong as I really like the show.

PS - And there's very little eye candy ! ;)

I'm starting to find the Irish guy (Barry?) really annoying.

Everytime I see the headmaster (Richard Park) I can't help but remember when he used to work for Radio Clyde in Glasgow. I think he DJed there all through the 70's but I remember his shows from the early 80's.

He used to have a late-night show called Dr Dick's Midnight Surgery!!!!

If only those students knew about that.

::lol::

He was sitting in the garden yesterday afternoon telling some of them about hid DJ days, but he didn't divulge his "Dr Dick" past. ::lol::

I see that Alex has announced she is gay. Now I don't like to judge people on how their appearance, but I really don't think that is a surprise!!

Are they showing those shows that they shpowed on Tues and Thurs at 7 o' clock this year with all the happenings in the academy on it this year cos I couldn't see them on the Tv guide thingy.

I think I prefer last series, cos after that first showdown I loved it and it hasn't been the same. I think it's better when they had certain students up for probation instead of them all, and just one showdown a week and when the showdowns were at Shepperton. I also think it was better when the judges or whoever chose the students and there was a better balance of girls and boys.

No, Jezi, it just seems to be the Wednesday and Saturday shows on BBC1 this time.

There is a show on almost every night on BBC3 and on Freeview - channel 701 there is live streaming from 7am - 1am every day.

I must agree that some of it has changed for the worse. I preferred it when three students were on probation and had to sing for survival. I think this year they all have to sing on every BBC1 show, and their song will only last for one minute each.

I read that in a few weeks time the public will be asked to vote someone from the audition rounds, who was originally rejected, into the Academy.

think they have revamped because there going up against popidol and think they may have made a mistake in doing that popidol is different to fame academy they should have stuck with their original trust endemol to come up with bringing in someone who didnt get in from audition rounds bit like bringing in new housemate

I really feel that starting all these shows in the middle of summer will prove to be a huge mistake. Many fans are away on holiday or just wish to be outside in the sunshine. Having 'missed' the start of the series, many will not bother to tune in later.
