I have to say that I prefer Fame Academy to Pop Idol (I don't even watch it, I can't stand anything about it to tell you the truth), as FA has an element of BB about it.

They are all "locked up" in a house and available to be viewed for a large part of the day.

Yes I do agree. It is the BB element that makes it interesting for me and which is the factor which I use to select my favourites. If I don't like the personality I will not offer my support no mattere how well they might sing.

It also helps you to see other factors at play ... how ambitious and/or ruthless a contestant is, how much they want it, the sacrifices that they are prepared to make to improve themselves, how hard they work etc

I agree with you. There were at least half a dozen others that were FAR worse than Audely. I think that he sang quite nicely.

Also, I din't understand why Louise was one of the bottom 3.

I'm pi$$ed off that Audley was voted off. He has a good voice and seems like a really, really nice guy. He isn't arrogant atall.

I'll never understand the way the "great" British public vote in reality TV shows.

I'd have preferred Barry to have gone. I think he seems a bit fake. He was totally overdoing the "Oh I'm gonna miss Audley" when they went back into their part of the house.

Yep, bren, they've probably already decided who the winner is!!

Which is really annoying.

I have to agree that these types of show are not good for the UK music industry but I guess the live feeds are okay to watch, if you are bored out of your skull, which I am sometimes.
