I think (ok hope) it's going to be:

Alistair (long shot, but there's something about him ;) ) James & Alex (actually prefer moody Carolyne's voice but Alex is bound to be in there)

Though for some reason Bazza is STILL pulling in the votes ${ He's ok and the teachers were a bit out of order on Saturday but he hasn't got 'it'

Baz seems to be a bit geeky, nice voice though, which is what he is there for.

But I hope that:

Paris
Carolynne
and Alistair

get through, I think they are fantastic. Saying that, Lamar was my favourite last year, and look at him now!!! Whatever happens, the final three/four will end up getting a record deal IMO.

I think....

1.Alex (still my fav even though she is starting to believe her own hype)
2.Alistair (long shot again, but I think him and James will be up against each other a lot in the teachers sing for survival, and I think he will get the public vote over james who is far to cocky)
3. Peter (mainly because I dont think he will have to sing to survive that many times, the teachers love him)

Paris...one trick pony at the moment, all falsetto and thats not everyones cup of tea, think he could lose out on a public vote if up against one of the others.
Carolyne...great voice maybe a contender
James...doesnt come accross that well in the live shows and highlites and is a bit of a pub singer.
Barry....bless him but NO.

You shouldn't dismiss James, looks good, can actually play the piano and guitar  developing a healthy disregard for Richard Park and unlike Paris, when they're having a sing song (my idea of a nightmare when they all break into song btw) lets the others sing without looking bored or talking through it as Paris (now he IS camp) does

not that it matters that much this year, half of them already have record deals. They gave that much away on the BB3 shots during the program with Simon Fuller

here's a sure fire way, to stay in the Academy......
answer back, to Richard Parks.
....it works every time (and the penny has dropped with the students.)
......the public love a bit of pantomime, and will always stick up for the underdog and the "put upon".
........having said that Barry has the whole of Ireland, voting for him, so he needs extra sympathy votes, from no one. :-?
As for Richard Parks - he's the only one prepared to speak the truth.
The others are giving, the mainly average and overrated students, false hope.)
...........am getting a bit bored, with "one trick ponies", Peter and Paris. :-?
......and i think, Alex is slightly overrated too - though she has a talent in a sea of mediocrity, she's not the "superstar", everyone seems to think she is.
.......watch "dark horse" Alistair.
He's getting the girlie vote - and his vocals are improving every week.

I dont think its fair to say Richard is the only one telling the truth.

At the moment the votes are for people to stay in the academy, a learning facility and a lot of the two singing teachers are encouraging and praising the ones who have learned the lessons they have been put to learn, and saying thrie disapointment to the ones who arent learning. Richard is blunt and I have to say I agree with him most times, but this isnt pop idol. Half the point of the show is that its a training academy and the teachers want the ones with potential and learning skills to stay in.

Not saying that Parky doesn't know what he's talking about (as he reminds everyone constantly, I'm best friends with so n so, name dropper) but he's going down the Simon Cowell route a bit too obviously Barry wanted just a crumb of encouragement and got nothing, if he'd only given the teachers the finger after the public voted him in ;)

BIG fan of Alistair, ()^

...but the blunt truth is, most of them aren't good enough to make it in the industry... :-?

The truth is that they are all good enough to be used by a record company for a short period of time to get as much money out of them as possible. Notice how the first FA album is out already, they are squeezing these kids for all their worth.
As far as longevity goes, I dont think we have really seen the case for it with any of them on this series yet. But thats what the academy is there to try and do, mould them into a marketable substance. It will be up to the atrists after they leave to continue to do this and not be left on a shelf like the likes of some contestance from other shows.

Well yeah, you say that, but would Kate have been given the opportunity to present a live telly show if she hadn't been on BB? Exposure is everything, talent comes second (or as in Kate's case, not at all)

I think he is doing it on purpose too, that Richard, and what was wrong with him, I know he wasnt well????? And i'm waiting for that husband and wife to have a row and then go and judge, it would be so funny, I can't remember for the life of me what their names are though!!!!!

Alistair won my heart on Saturday, and I was so glad Louise got chucked out - to be honest I thought she was only kept in because of who her boyfriend is. I also like Paris, it doesn't mean i like him as a person cos I've heard he is a bit of a sod, but I like his voice, i'm a softie when it comes to the voice, I can't help it:

Worries: Its Hayden from Ultimate Chaos all over again ::lol:: He was younger than me too, fancied him because of his voice ::lol::

Louise was eye candy but from the Kate Lawler school of talent

Like the way the teachers kept saving her, citing 'she's got so much potential' as their flimsy reason, all except Robin Gibb who obviously never rated her, makes you almost think the others were 'advised' to keep her and they obvioulsy couldn't tell Robin (how bad is his wig btw? )

......i do prefer it to the tiresome freakshow on ITV, ..
(but enough of Kate Thornton) ;)
....the only one from Pop Idol, (i.m.o), who could have done well in the Academy, was Will.
......Mr Cowell's obsession with picking "pretty boys/girls", over talent is becoming increasingly boring.
The bloke who's sister is Lisa Steps, is average, to say the least in looks and talent. :-?
His boyband have failed once in the industry, but despite that, his connections have got him, into the final 100, and according to the papers, has made it into the final 50. :-?
