I seriously hope (though I doubt it'll hapen) that Alex ISN'T in the last three.

She was great for the first couple of weeks but in the last few has shown she is actually a very sulky, bitchy teenager. Unless everything is going her way.

And Barry - urgh!! Aside from the fact that he looks like he hasn't had a bath for about five years, he also seems homophobic. His constant snipey comments about, and to, Paris testify to that.

Or James - What a cocky tw@t!! And he looks like he is "styled" by the people who did Don Johnson in the 80's.

Final Three, from a very bad bunch:

Alistair - marginally less annoying than those above
Paris - If only because he hasn't bitched about anyone
Peter - because Carolynne doesn't deserve to be last three, either.

NONE of them are particularly likeable (or have amazing voices - and I'm including the toneless, shouty Alex in there too), so ultimately does anyone really care who wins?

Carolynne has a nice enough voice - nothing special though.
Problem is she looks like a cross between an Atomic Kitten reject, and
Posh Spice.......and that, my friends, ain't good.

I have to say that I DO really like Alex, yes she isnt a regular voice, but GOOD!!! The feeling she puts into her singing blows the others away. The fact that she performed a great version of Beautiful, and followed it with a great version of Yellow, both songs that could have really made her look bad she has a unique sound and makes each song her own. I rate her above all the others for personality in her songs.

Personality? Whoever said it above was right, she's become a right moody madam, I think she's acting out the tortured, angst-filled teen a bit too keenly

I disagree, I do believ that she is starting to belive her own hype and playing up to it, but so far I havent seen that change the level of emotion she displays when she sings. I would say you could count her voice in a Dido vain, but its no closer than Didos is to Sienad O Connors (sp) they have a more raw, Gallic tone IMO.

Dido & Sinead? I would NEVER have put those two in the same category

Yes I know thats what Im saying, Alex's voice is as close to Didos as didos is to Sienead (blad irish girl not from last series) they are a similar vain but not alike.

None of them sound alike, but they all sing with a gallic flavor, the breathy break in the voice very irish sounding. And I think Alex sounds more like Sinead that Dido

I know! Was saying that she doesnt, hence the analogy that she sounds as much like Dido as Dido does to Sinead. They dont sound alike, apart from that breathy irishy breaking voice thing.
