Been watching some of the FA live feeds over the past week and Alex just becomes more and more fake imo.

All she does is moan about something or someone, and seems to always be rolling her eyes when someone else is speaking. Even tonight she spent about ten minutes droning on about Barry, after he had been evicted. I couldn't stand Barry either but for someone who is being portrayed as Miss Laid Back Indie Kid (on BBC1), Alex seems to have lots of negativity simmering away.

I also hate the way she is being built up as some sort of lesbian icon. From what I've watched she has barely mentioned her sexuality and yet I've actually heard some people saying she is "breaking down barriers" - Yeah right! How? By dressing and acting like a 14 year old schoolboy?? Puuhlease!

That voice too is very grating. Having to listen to an entire album of hers would be torture.

Looks like FA decided they were going to manipulate the public. Alex isn't anywhere near as compelling or innovative or wonderful as the "teachers" would have us believe.

at first I thought alex was really good had a special something but has grated on me lately - basically theyve not got an exciting bunch so tv producers have to promote someone !!!!!!!!!!!

yes......listening to an entire album, of hers, would drive most people to suicide.
She sings covers, in her own style ,very well.
But listening to her is all a bit same-y.
A short career, with a bit of Smash Hits / CDUK promotion, beckons...
but give it a year, and she'll be doing summer seasons at Butlins.

She makes me really angry. Certainly doing her best at trying to promote she is a stroppy little ****. Another one who's attitude really really grates on me is James! He's always me me me, i, i, i. They should just grow up IMO!!!

Plus Alex just has one of those faces that looks like it needs a good slap

I was beginning to think EVERYONE could see what was so utterly special about Alex, except me.

I think those "teachers" are building her ego into something she definitely cannot live up to.

I'd say she'll get even stroppier and more annoying when she has her first hit.
