Even though I thought this series has been pretty dire, I went along to see them perform at the free concert at the NEC yesterday, and I really enjoyed it! I was really impressed with all of them - Carolynne especially. Alistair was very good at interacting with the crowd as well.

I won't be voting in the final though. I'd like to see Carolynne win, even though I know she won't! Out of Alex and Alistair though, I'd prefer to see Alistair win.

I still think that the kids would have benefited if they were allowed to have had some club/pub experience as well as the teaching. It's like in all jobs you become more confident when you get work experience. The kids would have a developed more of a confidance, ie how to flirt with an audience, to make them laugh, to cry, to take the punches when things aren't going too good, they may have gained that X factor to make them pop star material by gaining a rapour, part of being a good pop star is learning about the reactions of an audience and feeding what the audience wants.

Yes, if anyone wants Carolynne to win, then please vote - don't just think that she doesn't stand a chance. Who knows? The people who originally supported Peter will now need to switch their votes elsewhere and it may be that the Carolynne supporters didn't bother to vote before, like me for example - I've never voted before, but I am this time.

Aaahhh ... now why does it not surprise me to TOTALLY agree with you once again?

Have you noticed the massive campaign in the media designed to secure an Alex win? Magazine covers, teachers endorsements etc ... this is Reality TV at its worst.

It is so biast towards Alex. she gets bigged up every week and every night out they get alex always gets to go and she's always in the spot light for her good points.

I'm DREADING the phone bill coming in. I've voted at least 3 times each week for Carolynne and my mother is going to kill me. I've voted twice tonight already and the rpog hasn't even started yet ::lol::

I voted for Carolynne..... doh!
My favourite NEVER wins!! I really wanted Sinead to win last year.
As soon as it was down to Alex and Alistair, I voted for Alistair. Alex makes me yawn....she's a one trick pony!!

COME ON ALISTAIR!

Oh, and they showed me at the NEC...how embarrasing! Oh well, at least I can say I've been on the Fame Academy final!!
