Yay! I looked to see if I could see you, but it was all too fast for me to study everyone and I wasn't sure how your hair is at the moment - whether it is still long or you have had it cut.

Lol! Thankfully it wasn't a particularly long shot! you'd only have been able to spot me if you knew where I was standing!

You knew when they all had sung the first song whom was going to win. I switched off then. I am glad I never stayed around and watched her sing Imagine!

Yeah - considering I wasn't a huge fan of the show this time round, I was actually really impressed by it. Very entertaining, it was! Alistair was very good at interacting with the crowd, whilst Carolynne gave the best performances in my opinion. Alex seemed a little taken aback by it all.
Still not sure whether I'd pay to go and see the tour like I did back in April for the FA1 lot though.

I agree Nicki, I wouldn't even consider going to this tour and I don't think many will.

Glad it's not just me who has grown bored but Alex's monotonous tone.

I thought when they announced the winner it was a bit of a anticlimax...and poor Alistair even HE was embarassed by the blatantly obvious bias.
Not many would have stood there and just took it like that ...hats off to me I say.

Just hope that the winner fades and the runners up prosper as in past contests.

....Alex will have a couple of minor hits....
followed by a flop album of cover versions, and then disappear.
....Alistair has a chance of longevity, with his songwriting ability.
I can imagine him penning, hit records for other people, rather than performing them himself.
Carolynne will busy herself with regular gigs on the Oriana and QE2.

yes carolynne will work and make a good living but she was never star material at first thought alex and peter were promising had the x factor but it never developed for me all in all a pretty weak series and although last years lot were stronger cant see them doing much either maybe just maybe alex will surprise us but cant see it

I find all that staring at the camera groaning in dispair totally fake and contrived. Not to mention boring and done a hundred times before.

Don't think she'll do covers Ade..... that's part of the FA thing, that they must be able to write their own songs. David and Sinead don't generally do covers ie: the majority of their work is their own.

...and that's why David and Sinead have bombed.
...They will be told to go down the tried and tested "covers"route.

Apparently Will is recording at the moment with someone (according to my son) you really wouldn't expect to produce him (no idea who).
