Once in a whle, a lovely director puts out a film. This director being Mr Tarantino. Now, Jackie Brown wasn't the masterpiece that everyone thought it was going to be - but hey I can live with that.

Now we have the 4th film from this director and I am pleased to say......

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is it, this is the one. I am a lover of cheesy 70s flicks and Mr Tarantino has brought us one for the new millenium.

The Bride (Uma Thurman) has been nearly assassinated by the people she worked for, and not only that but on her wedding day. The Bride is left in a coma having survived her ordeal but others havent.

Miss Thurman then wishes to take revenge on the people who have put her this way. I dont need to go on, you have seen the trailers.

Tarantino has pulled out all the stops here, completely. The direction is magnificent and at one scene in the film he has taken you completely off course and then suddenly you remember where you were in the film.

BE WARNED: This is THE most violdent film I have ever seen. But done in a delightful way.

Throw in a bit of Manga (Japanese Animation) and a great soundtrack and you have a classic. There are scenes in this film that will stay with you and haunt you. Not going to tell you what they are, but you will know.

Brilliant performances all round and just completely stunning.

You will laugh and you will witness just pure brilliance. Tarantino can take all the time he wants to make another film after this, it shows that as he said on Jonathon Ross - "I want to make movies for MY fans" and with this he has.

Its a MONSTER of a movie and the best film I have seen this year.

10/10

Trying to not give anything away because as with Pulp Fiction, you will have talking points after the film.

ROLL ON VOLUME 2

Wicked..I love Quentin's films.....I'm getting it on pirate next week  Shame on me! Apparently it's a great copy.
I hate going to the cinema here..too many prats arsing about and kicking my chair...I spend the whole film going 'tsk' and 'shusssh'
But I will probably also buy it when it comes out.

HD,

You will enjoy it. Its very violent though but when you do buy it - you will be able to probably get it on the DVD with both volumes with extras.

In all serious, you should just watch it in a cinema to see the audiences reactions to certain things after viewing your pirate version. Then again, I could have it wrong and you might not like it. But as you like his other films, I am in doubt you will like it.

The manga part is and should be manga. Lets just leave it at that. Movies are not ready for this part to be made with real actors yet.

I just feel sorry for people named Buck. They are the butt of many jokes for years to come. ;)

All in all glorious and glad to see you back QT.

Now its all down to THE LAST SAMURAI or THE RETURN OF THE KING to take FILM OF THE YEAR from Tarantino's hands.

yes you're right MC..I should go to the cinema and see it.

I remember going to see Res Dogs in the Electric in Portobello Road. Heard all the hype and in a funny way hoped I wouldn't enjoy it, but I absolutely loved it....I love talky type films....and then Pulp Fiction came along.....absolutely fantasic. I've never known films to make me feel so scared but amused at the same time. And it's the little things that amuse me....one of my favourite parts in Pulp Fiction was the bit with the coffee...Jim has just ranted to Jules about not telling him how good his coffee is (he buys it...he knows lol), then when Harvey Keitel comes in and takes a gulp he just looks at Jim and goes 'mmmm' and nods his head, and Jim smiles! I don't why I love that bit so much!
Jackie Brown was a fine film but can never compare.
I can't wait for Kill Bill....actually, I might go and see it this Sunday as mum's having the kids for me, and hopefully the Saturday Night crowd won't be there.

I don't usually believe the hype but in QT's case I do...it's usually better than they hype can make out.

Also I love him in his interviews, and I've got a book about him too...he comes across as a regular guy. He's great. :D

Good to hear HD, that you liked it and love your aviator.

Its very violent though, and good to see that Tarantino said the same about the manga scene. That he couldn't have done that with real actors especially the child.

Bring on V2.

And CheekieChickie, from what I have seen of Matrix 3 - We are talking WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!, So if I was you I would see the other 2 if you get the chance.

Kill Bill though Cheekie, is very (Extremely) violent and if you dont like limbs being mistreated then I would give it a miss.
