From 'Heat' magazine, edition of 22 - 28 November 2003, comes news that the new series has been scheduled to start this coming January 2003.

Ant and Dec will host once again, with Mark Durden-Smith and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson over on ITV2.

ITV have warned those celebrities in the running to appear in the show that they will be axed if they confirm anything to the press.

Nevertheless 'Heat' names some of the rumoured celebrities as ..... Jodie Marsh (model), Leilani (model), Shane Lynch (ex-Boyzone), Peter Andre (pop music person), Sid Owen (soap opera person), Marquess of Blandford (aristocrat), Kerry McFadden (another pop music person) ...

'WESTLIFE singer Bryan McFadden has pleaded with wife Kerry not to reveal their secrets on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Kerry, 23, is considering going on the jungle reality show early next year. But Bryan, 23 — whose song Mandy is at No1 in the singles chart — fears she would be too open about their marriage.

A show insider said: “Kerry is a favourite with Granada bosses because of her bubbly manner and she always says what she thinks. They think her curvy figure and dirty laugh will be a big hit with viewers.

“Kerry is very interested but has been talking it over carefully with Bryan. He is worried that the show may not be the best career move for her as a TV presenter.”

Mum-of-two Kerry is a regular co-host on ITV1’s Loose Women.

Other stars rumoured to be in the frame for I’m A Celebrity, include EastEnders’ Sid Owen, 31, busty glamour model Lindsey Dawn McKenzie, 25, and Lord Brocket, 52 — who spent three years in jail for fraud.'

Kerry mcFadden said in her weekly gossip section of the 'OK' magazine:
'I haven't been asked to star in IACGMOOH! as rumoured, but I would definitely consider it. ( I bet she would) I saw what happened to Danniella Westbkook and think any mother would miss their kids.
'But because of all the stress she's had, she really needs her family near her. It was a great move for Linda Barker tho and 'm a big fan of Ant and Dec, so we'll see. I've roughed it many times, so I dont think that would be anything new to me.'

From today's Daily Star, Sunday (for what its worth) a few other celebrities are named as being under active consideration along with most of those referred to above -

Stan Collymore, Jonny Rotten, Alex Best, Anna Kournikova and Jordan.

'For the new show, the celebrities will set up stall in the scorching sun instead of smack in the middle of the rainy season.'

All the names mentioned may have put their names forward for the show. Stan Collymore and Jonny Rotten....now that would be interesting.

Somehow, I don't believe that Jordan would really agree to do this, leaving such a young child at home.

But Jodie -recently accused of being "without class, brains or boobs" by Jordan -has no fears about being upstaged. She said"I definetely want to do it".

She joked her number one essential item would be her lipliner. She added cheekily: "I'm not bothered about taking a bra though, I think I can live without that" ...'

Linda Barker made me turn down the volume, that voice, that incredible screeching, she has a voice that could make dogs stop barking

I heard this morning on the radio Kerry Mcfadden and Dean Gaffney are gonna be on! LMFAO!!!

Kerry Mcfadden was on that awful program where celebs had to live with a family and then complete a task to win prizes for the family and she cried the whole week cos she missed her kids - I can hardly see her sticking it for long!

It's the same old story - any celebs worth watching will have too big a work load to be able to take time out to do it
