Alex has shaved his facial hair off to please his mum, whose birthday is tomorrow.

The other housemates said they couldn't believe it was the same person.

They agreed Alex looked much better, and more like a model.

He joked that he had been keeping the beard so he could shave it off when he left the house, to avoid being recognised by fans.
