Right, I'm starting this thread to post news, gossip, pics, updates of all the BB4 USA houseguests.

Erika has a new boyfriend. She is dating the delicious Josh who was the runner up to the winner of BB1 USA. You have my absolute assurance that it's worth taking a look.

An interview, by Penny Soldan, with Nathan appeared in the The Oklahoman on 26/09/03 ...

''Nathan Marlow of Edmond spent 37 days on "Big Brother 4," the CBS reality series which brought together 13 strangers for a summer of seclusion in a house full of television cameras.
He didn't win the show's $500,000 grand prize as he had hoped, but he can't complain.

Come Monday, Marlow will tape a guest appearance for the show "Yes, Dear" (the episode will air in late October). And he's been hearing buzz about a possible soap opera stint.

"I'm enjoying my 15 minutes of fame, and I plan on using every minute of it," he said in a telephone interview from Los Angeles. "I haven't had a chance to talk to too many people, but I've already got a couple of gigs lined up. And I'm meeting with agents next week."

Marlow, who graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in May and has been working as a personal trainer for YMCAs in Edmond and Oklahoma City, has decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.......

As for friends in the "Big Brother" house, Marlow did make some. But he doesn't count the show's two finalists, Jun Song and Alison Irwin, among them..... "It was devastating to see what those girls were all about," Marlow said. "For Ali to go into the diary room and deceive me like that hurt the most. I could see Jun doing it because she would tell you what she thought upfront. But I can't respect either of them."

So why, then, during week four, did Marlow use the power of veto and save Alison from possible eviction? "A lot of people thought that I saved Ali for emotional reasons, but that wasn't it," he said. "My whole plan was to get Justin (Giovinco, Alison's ex-boyfriend) out of the house. But then she stabbed me in the back by having an alliance with Justin. I finally figured it out when she didn't put him up (for eviction)."

Still, Marlow, who was the show's first head of household and the only person to use the power of veto to save someone else, voted for Alison to win. Jun received everyone else's vote. "I didn't want to vote for either of them, but 'Big Brother' said I had to," Marlow said. "After seeing the tapes, I would have changed my vote to the lesser of two evils and picked Jun." .....

Lexie of the US BB fan site ..'Big Brother Updates' recently interviewed a very frank David .....here are a few highlights ....

'' Lexie - David, it's been rumored that you did not apply for Big Brother 4, but that you were recruited to be on the show, if that is the case, did you have to >stop and think about your decision or did you just dive in head first?

David - Once they told me that the grand prize was $500,000, I jumped right in and just needed to know where I had to be and when I had to be
there.....

Lexie - Since you had never even heard of Big Brother, what made you say Yes?

David - The cash and the fact that I knew just about every reality show has hot chicks!

Lexie - The Ex- Factor threw some of your fellow house mates strategies a little curve. What was your first thought when you found out that your ex-girlfriend Michelle would be on the show with you and did it change anything for you in terms of the game and your strategy to win the money?

David - I was relieved to find that the ex was Michelle. It didn't hurt my strategy. It only potentially helped me. We could have used each other because we were still good friends before we walked in the house.

Lexie - Do you feel like your chances of going further in the game would have been >different if the Ex- Factor hadn't been a factor?

David - Maybe. If there were no exes then there wouldn't have been the original alliance of 8. Who knows how the game would have went if that didn't happen.

Lexie - On the night that you were evicted, if it had been Jack rather than you, what would your next step been, who would you have targeted for eviction?

David - If Jack was gone then I would have went after Jun. I'm not saying that because she won, but because she was the only one in the house that I couldn't manipulate. Once she saw that she couldn't pull me around by my johnson, she wanted me out.

Lexie - Following up on that question - do you think that you would have been able to remain in the house until the end or would you have been going stir crazy?

David - Are you kidding me? No one could beat my mental toughness in that house. There isn't anything that they could've thrown at me to break my mind. Just because I act crazy and cooped up, it doesn't mean that it really gets to me like it does the other hgs. But I don't think that would have had anything to do with how long I'd last in the house. There are so many factors involved. If it was sheer mental stamina competitions, then of course I would have won the game.

Lexie - Who would you have liked to be in the finals with and why?

David - Anyone except for Jack. I think I could've had the majority of votes if I was against anyone. I really didn't piss on anyone too bad and everyone seemed to like me for different reasons. Jack is the only one who is generally liked by all and I think it would've been a close call....''

'RNL: Were there any surprises at the cast party? Was it awkward for you to be amongst those who voted you out?

MM: They didn't show it, but when I first walked in and saw all of them sitting there, I started almost kinda crying, because it was very hard seeing all those people again. You know, I've been watching them on television but I haven't been there in person with them, and they all did lie to me, except the few exceptions, and they all did backstab me, and I thought they were my friends. So that was really hard.


RNL: Were there any Diary Room entries that people made that surprised you, upset you, did somebody say something in the Diary Room that you completely wouldn't have expected them to say?

MM: I thought everybody was so horrible in the Diary Room. They were just outright mean! I thought everyone was really nice.. I know I thought they were my friends, so I had nothing bad to say in the Diary Room, but I guess they did. I don't really remember one certain thing that really made me mad, but there was a lot of things. All together the whole Diary Room thing was just... mean.


RNL: If you had been on the jury, would you have voted for Jun or Ali, and why?

MM: I wouldn't have wanted to vote for either of them. Like Justin said... I'm going to vote for the best of two evils. He was right, 'cause he voted for Jun. Someone said, "Jun stabs you in the front, Allison stabs you in the back" and I completely agree with that ....'

Yes Madeleine, I think we could learn a lot from them. I am pleased to see that Michelle is no longer so bitter about her experiences in the BB USA House. She really was an innocent.

'Jokers: <Karen> Have you talked to Jack since the finale?
Dana: yes, jack and I keep in touch...he writes me letters and sends me pics all of the time
Jokers: he doing well?
Dana: we've spoken on the phone too...he's great...and really regrets his comment. he's doing great...love s alabama

Jokers: and you? do you get approached on the street a lot? bet you do!
Dana: yes...a ton. probably not as much as some of the "small town" folk....but enough for me
Jokers: Anything bizarre happen? no stalkers we hope!
Dana: it's sooo weird to be eating at IHOP and have a woman freak out cuz she knows you...it's like hey....I'm just eating some pancakes.I like it...people are great.

Jokers: did you watch bb before you did it?
Dana: yep..watched 2 and 3.

Jokers: How did you happen to do BB? Tape?
Dana: I sent in an application and video...yep...for a goof...and it worked.
Jokers: how fast did they get back to you?
Dana: well, I just made the deadline so it was only like 2 weeks...I couldn't believe it

Jokers: <Nann> being a fellow NYer, I was rooting for you. Why do you think so many other hg were against you. I don't think you did anything for that to happen
Dana: I agree with you nann...I think that some people just can't handle the "in your face" NY attitude.I was very upfront w/everybodyand when I switched sides...I did it. Yeah, I'm sure being a snake in the grass would have gotten me farther...ahem ahem

Jokers: <Nann> Dana, did you really apply for previous BB?
Dana: No - I've heard this rumor that I applied to all of them....that's crapola, never did.

Jokers: <lexiebbupdates> Dana are you a Clay Aiken fan?
Dana: am I? I don't really know enough of his stuff...but I've seen his new video...it's aight

Dana: ditto for him. I'm a bit more of a rocker than a popper

Jokers: <Nann> Are you sorry you jumped ship and left the original 8 for the 3 amigos?
Dana: No Nann, absolutely not. I'm happy that I left aligned with them...more honorable than anybody else in that house. in all honestly...an alliance of 8 was not a good idea.who knew if we were going to like each other (which most of us didn't)...and who knew how we'd feel about the 5 coming in.

Jokers: were you glad no ex of yours showed up?
Dana: actually...my ex was very close to coming into the hosue - and then I would have freaked...but now I realize it would have been a huge help. he and I respected each other very much and never would have let each other be evicted...any competition I didn't win...he would have.I would have trusted him...no doubt 100% (whether or not everybodyelse would have known that...I don't know) lol ...'
