my least favourite christmas song has to be

the reason is the whole irish american thing, with the irish pipe band.
i can't get past the fact that these are the people who sponsered terrorism in ireland for thirty years and we are supposed to think of them as nice lovely people.i like the irish but irish americans make me :puke:

Mistletoe & Wine ... Cliff Richard. Reason being is that it is so cheesey, full of all the old Christmas cliches, horrid rhymes ... yuk.

the worst Xmas song, of all time, is the Pop Idol
version of the classic "happy Xmas (war is over)", by
John Lennon.
:puke:
The concept of Pop Idol ,greed, non-talent and conformity,
is against everything that Lennon, stood for. :-?
Just to make it even more of a disgrace and a sick joke ,is that, all profits go to Cowell and Fuller...whereas the original, which has been re-released, has it's profits going to children's charities. :-?
Whoever buys the Pop Idol version must question their motives and wake up and smell the coffee.

Or maybe they just like Pop Idol....I do believe that is freedom of choice, something that John Lennon himself would have strongly advocated....

...it's actually my fave Xmas record ()^ (and they are 2 of the finest songwriters, ever to emerge from our shores)
but i echo your sentiments ,about their pro-terrorist opinions and views.
Funny ,how these "pro -irish", singers, actors and celebrites (bar Geldoff, who has made a vocal stand), didn't make a charity record ,for the victims of Eniskillen or Omagh. :-?

Nor did they make a record for Bloody Sunday .... when the British paras opened fire, murdering innocent, peaceful demonstrators whom they knew were unarmed.
