We went to a dinner party on Saturday at a neighbours house and they had Who wants to be a millionaire interactive dvd game for christmas - what a laugh, it started off a bit slow and boring but once we'd all had a couple of drinks it was a right laugh!
We paired up and answered as teams - on mine and paul's first go we went out on £200
The answer was "happy clappers" I forget the question but that earned us the title of "the happy
crappers" for the rest of the evening!! After that we managed to get to 125k another 3 times - the night went so quickly and we strolled home at about 1am!
If you've got a dvd player (just an ordinary dvd player no pc or anything else needed cos its controlled on the remote) and get the chance to have a go at this it's great fun at a party - we only had 2 questions that were repeated in all the games we played and you have all the features 50:50, phone a friend (it gives you 3 people to call and you have to decide whether they'll know the answer or not from a little bit of background info on them) and ask the audience where a little cut-scene of an audience is shown....its all hosted by chris tarrent and is just like the tv program.
We're gonna get it but it's out of stock in all our local shops at the moment! Apparently its cheapest at tescos! The tempation is there to sit with the PC connected to the net and the encarta open in front of you - especially as if you get to a million you get entered into a prize draw to win prizes!
Well worth a go - if you have a family party coming up get it cos it's well good!
