TV’S Mr Nasty Simon Cowell was left stunned when a Pop Idol contestant DRENCHED him.

Cowell, 44, heard the lad’s tuneless audition then put his head in his hands.

The vengeful contestant in Houston, Texas, appeared to offer a handshake, then wrestled the music guru’s water beaker from him — and hurled the contents.

Millions of fans will cheer the scenes when the new series of American Idol starts in the US next week.

It will be shown here on ITV2 on January 23.

Ade the first auditions on Pop Idol are some of the funniest tv you will ever see pet ::lol::

Am I the only one who likes Simon Cowell? :-? :oops:

Ok, sometimes he's OTT and sometimes gets it wrong, but I reckon most of the time his comments are bang on.
And he's what makes people watch really!

Some of his comments are right! and fair enough he can be rude, but there is a dividing line and I have seen him ridicule and be down right unfair to some applicants that could have just done with a bit of constructive criticism.

I sometimes wonder if his trousers are so high because his b*ll*c*s are nearly on level with his gob.
