I voted for the Lord Brocket pain in the a*** Jennie. She is showing him up for the snobbish, arrogant, snob he is.
In the discussion on education...Brocket said you cant keep throwing money at the state schools, they need to have more legislation.

How does he think the private schools survive? They survive because him and the Moneyed people like him pay astronomical fees. Jennie was trying to make the point.....if the state school system had more money spent on it like the (privite schools have) the children would be happier at the school and wouldn't want to be missing classes.

but kids through out time not just now dont like school but over the years teachers have had their hands tied they cant say boo to them I listen to what the kids get up to at their schools and cant believe they get away with it but as the teachers have been made toget lenient then the kids have taken advantage. Dont think any amount of money will change their attitudes - as for him complaining about finishing early several of the secondary schools here have switched to continental times with GREAT success - the nearest starts at 8am with the school canteen open from 7am their is no lunch break they have a shorter mid-morning break they finnish by 2pm but the schools performance is up and the kids attendance is way up so for some it works lord snooty

But what about those of us whose kids do attend school Bren? Why should we be penalised for those parents who don't have control over their kids?
