Johnny's side of the story. This sounds much more plausible, especially after enduring those two plonkers Neil and Bryan on TV tonight. Kerry deserves better than Bryan.

Celeb was fake, says John Lydon Feb 11 2004

John Lydon has broken his silence after leaving the I'm A Celebrity camp, claiming the show was "fake" and a "fiasco".

The former Sex Pistol snubbed the other celebrities and the end-of-show bash, choosing instead to stay in his hotel room, where he spoke to the Daily Mirror.

"You don't want to go to that so-called party tonight," he told the reporter. "It's just free drinks for cheap a***holes.

"It'll be full of really low life people who don't appreciate something so excellent as nature. And that's what that show should have been about."

Mr Rotten, who left the jungle of his own accord, repeatedly refused to tow the line and producers were originally thought to be concerned he was planning to sabotage the ITV show.

However, John believes Granada were the fakers and not him.

"This whole show is a bloody fiasco. Really tacky. It's a fake dealing with fakes," he said.

"It degenerated into It's A Knockout. They missed the point of it. And when I heard that at the end they were spotted moving loads of plants out of the jungle I was really p***ed off.

"I don't like lies. And they showed so much of that fake romance between Jordan and Peter.

"I think me killing three rats with a poker and rocks around the campfire was more interesting. Granada didn't show it because of the RSPCA. But if you don't want snakes in the camp get rid of the rats."

John had to move to another hotel on Saturday night after punches were thrown at a party and Westlife’s Bryan McFadden allegedly accused him of upsetting people by trying to steal the limelight.

On the incident 48-year-old Lydon said: "I hate lies. No one asked me what happened. Bryan was drunk.

"Westlife, no life. He's a dope. All he's got left is his Irish accent. I have values not ambitions, unlike him.

"I enjoyed myself whatever those other silly buggers, of daft ducks, got up to. I am very pleased I did it. I have come out smelling of roses."

After watching the show last night, I've come to the conclusion nothing John sez about the other celebs (apart from Kerry) is plausible.

One minute he's saying they are all a bunch of fakes/a**h***s/wasters, next he sez they're a all good bunch of people whom he wants to remain friends with.

Had to laugh when he said 'he' changed the world and political systems, the big...erm..sensationalist.

I saw the shown last night too..and I must say, I don't like Bryan and I've gone off of Razor.

They both turned up for a TV interview drunk! and whe they played golf...Bryan was throwing beer cans around!

When asked what he liked best about Australia, Razor replied, the drive through off licenses and the Golf courses

I didnt like Jordan much..but I was quite touched by her reunion with little Harvey..

...as for Jonny's claim he changed the world...he did in a round about kind of way


BTW..Ive just heard on the Radio that Bryan is in talks to do the next IAC on November!!...I think that awful...it was Kerry's achievement..why does he have to prove he can do it too..it's almost as if he is a little jealous???

It was obvious John was gonna say something like this... He said it before he went in - theres a thread somewhere quoting him saying he thought the whole program was a load of rubbish but he was doing it for charity!

I dunno it all seems like a load of rubbish to me I mean he knew the sort of desperado celebs these things attract cos at the end of the day top profile celebs are too busy to take two weeks off - its about reviving a flagging career... Im gonna be really honest now and I swear Im not joking but before John was rumoured to be going into the jungle I HONESTLY thought he was dead, goes to show how much of a celeb he is!!!! Not that he cares Im sure!

It's a bit unfair on Kerry who he stated he wanted to win to be putting them all down in such a manner...but then again did we really expect anything else?

Also Rosemary, Funny you should say that about Bryan because I thought he was a bit jealous of kerry's success in the show too, he knows she will be sought after and more in demand now than he ever was and I don't think he will like that.

I know they are married and have two beautiful children, but I can't help feeling Kerry deserves so much better than him.

She said he looks after and protects her etc; I see that more as a form of controlling her, just my opinion though, and one day I think she will see that. Hope I am wrong as she seems so blissfully happy at the moment but I do feel that one day she is going to open her eyes and wake up to him.

I dont know much of Brian but on the final show he seemed like a nice lad!

The more stories Im reading about him though the more I dislike him and thats a bit unfair talk about trial by media!

IMO: Kerry wears the trousers in the marraige. Brian was scared s***tless about the lost wedding ring, Kerry made a sarcastic remark about travel insurance to Brian on her 'This Morning' interview the other day...........If anything, IMO. It's Kerry who seems to be the one in controle in the marraige.

It would be his contradictory personality that would do my head in, if I was unlucky enough to be taken in by the Punk.

well brian was genuinely pleased when she won you could tell - if he has had talks about doing im a celeb himself its not cos hes jealous of his wife = he has no reason to be- wether you like westlife or not they are one of the most successful boy bands ever there last no 1 was their 10th they have a sell out tour of uk and far east he has absolutely nothing to be jealous of

from appearences they seem to be genuinely happy neither seem to be controling just a young couple with kids who seem to be happy lets not knock it
