The Devon Air Ambulance Trust said today it had been told that Bond, who has a home in south Devon, had raised £260,989.85 for the charity.

General manager of Devon Air Ambulance Trust Lyn Paver said: "We were both speechless and delighted when we were advised of the amount Jennie had raised for us. We had no idea it would be quite that much.

That's amazing, well done! That reminds me, I'm doing a sponsored Bunjee Jump to raise funds for our church and I am soooo scared, I hate heights! :eek:

Really? I couldn't do that either! :-? I'm doing my bunjee on Sunday afternoon, goodness knows why!!! :eek: It's for a good cause though, our church is in badly need of some repairs. I did a sleep out at the AECC in Aberdeen to raise money for the homeless and that was a breeze compared to what I'm gonna do! :roll:

.....have always fancied a parachute jump - but haven't as yet had a go. :-?

...have done a bungee jump - didn't enjoy it. :-( :puke:
