I think it's very dangerous to suggest there's something untoward with the voting - you would have to have some pretty impressive back-up for such a claim.
I don't think anyone is saying that there was anything untoward with the voting. What I would say is that the editing and general production of the programme showed a bias towards Jade.
What made matters worse was the fact (the evidence is well documented) that the presenters openly lied about Jeff going into the house - finally changing the spin to make it look like everyone had been given the option of having a "friend to stop-over" for the night. Their own website said that Jeff was going to be fighting it out for the top prize along with Jade.
For more evidence of bias I would point to last nights 8pm slot. Clearly they would have seen the voting up to 8pm. From 8pm to 8.30pm (while voting was still open) we were subjected to 30 minutes of James being ripped apart by Jade and then Ricardo.
There have been many more examples of this over the last few weeks - such that The Sun even picked up on it yesterday.
If Channel 5 wish to deny the allegation of bias then they have a duty to do so. First let them explain why they lied over Jeff, why they allowed Jade to watch the show when she was supposed to be ill, and how Jeff and Ricardo both knew what questions would hit a raw nerve with James.
Nobody is saying that the voting was rigged - if it had been, you would have seen Craig sitting alongside Maureen last night.
