I'm glad James won, he was calm and collected all way throughout and got stuck in with everyone and all the tasks, nice pleasant chap. Another example of not always believing what you read about someone!

I based my opinion on James by what I saw of him in the Mansion....not the gutter press.

He didn't as far as I saw, 'get stuck in with everyone' He avoided Lizzy like the plaque. He never stepped in to stop Ricardo when he had his hissy-fit. He left the table when Jeff got upset with the ansewr he got from Craig. He more then once went to bed rather then stay and socialise with his fellow guests. He told Sarah he was finding it very difficult to remain in the Mansion and was sorry he didn't walk out when he had the chance.
If anything, his army training came in very handy for James. He used all the discipline he could muster to stay in controle of his acid tongue.

IMO: We never got to see the real James Hewitt, we did get to see the army version tho.

I didn't like him, but as the homeless are the winners, I have nothing to add to this. thats me biting my tongue

Rather that arrogant, controlled, sexy James Hewit won.. than that vulgar Jade Goody.

James is on Richard & Judy tonight. Channel 4 5pm.

I love James I think he is great. I loved him in the Games.

Would of preferred Jade to win though!

James has been arrested on suspicion of assult outside his South Kensigton home.

He has been bailed by police after being questioned about an alleged assult on a photographer.

I imagine the offender and his pals will make life pretty difficult for James. He was paranoid in the Mansion about the press. The last night, he asked Tess, 'Do I really have to meet the press/photographers.?' They always give him a hard time. He seems to be bored with the references to the 'affair' with the Princess of Wales. Unfortunatly, the affair is what has made him a very rich celebrity.
The same thing happened to Jennifer Aniston. She became famous because of her trendy her Hair-Style. Then she nabbed her trophy husband and gets really shirty in interviews if the subject of her hair is brought up.
The price of Fame...who would have it.

The whole interview was Richard & Judy trying to get a sound-bite from James about The Letters. Is he or isn't going to sell the letters? What did he think of the Tapes Diana made being aired on TV in America.?
He spent the night in a police cell, but seems to be in a favourable mood.
He was Shocked and delighted winning B2R and wanted to thank all the people who voted for him.
