With rumours, rife, that Pierce Brosnan, has
played James Bond 007, for the last time, who
do you think, should take over the role?

(serious suggestions , pleeezzz!!

I want Pierce back :-(

I don't know to be honest. Like the idea of Jude Law but don't think it should be anyone blonde.

..Jude Law has got to be the most overrated actor of his generation.
...would be an awful choice, for 007. :-?

...If Bronsan ,is shown the door - i'd go for Dougray Scot

who? LOL

(ps....I don't care if Jude Law is a good actor or not...I just remember noticing him in a scene in The Talented Mr.Ripley wher he was on a moped with his shirt open and I thought 'ding dong' )

Don't you think though that the part of James Bond doesn't really have to involve the best acting skills? All you have to do is look cool with a gun and make a few sexual inuendo type jokes.
Saying that though, I still love James Bond films. I think I'm the only girl I know who loves them. I was never keen on Timothy Dalton though, although it's said he played the part more like the James Bond in the novels, but to me, his films don't even feel like Bond films. Maybe that's why?!

...the books are brilliant....Pierce Brosnan's Bond, is quite close to Fleming's creation...(apart from the crappy computer generated stunts, that blighted the last film).

Dougray Scot was in Enigma...good actor.

and yes, he is Scottish, like Connery.

(before the Scottish maffia, on this site,
jump on my back  )

Pierce Brosnan is as good a Bond as Sean Connery IMO. Head and shoulders above the rest.

To pick a new one is hard.....I wouls like to see a complete unknown given the role ..as long as he's fit ;) ::lol::

From The Sun

Quote:
JAMES BOND star Pierce Brosnan has launched a bitter attack on the spy series because he says the film makers have run out of ideas and use too many special effects.
Brosnan, 50, who fears he may be replaced in the next movie, says there should be stronger storylines and more development of characters.
