On a serious note I'm not sure if its my settings or the site but the little "thingies" for want of a better word that tell you when there are new posts seem to have a life of their own at the present. Is it just me ???? ${

no it's me too. If you mean the things at the side that are a yellowy orange colour if there's a new post

I must admit I hadn't noticed, because I always click on the 'View posts since last visit' at the top left of the forums.

My point is simple really......

(Well it does come from a simple source :-? :oops: )

I have been having a problem tonight, well this morning. Some of the pages don't load or I have to refresh the page to reload. Don't think it's a problem here because I have broadband and it's normally pretty stable. Just thought I should let you know in case it's a server problem. :D

Same here - when I click on a topic or a link I get the dreaded 'the page cannot be displayed' and a refresh does not seem to do anything. I have to go 'back' and try again, and the record for failure to display stands at 11 attempts for one page!

I've been trying to catch up, but the problems are annoying me now - as you can probably tell by the bad joke I just posted, in an attempt
to lighten my mood a bit!

Posting has problems too - 'no post mode specified' appears a couple of times before the message is accepted.

Sorry about that. I contacted the hosting company this morning and it appears that there has been a problem with the server, which hopefully, has been resolved now.
