Not literally, you understand, although live executions can't be far off from our screens.

He probably thinks he's not risking anything anyway; he'll hope to earn plenty from his "fame" or "celebrity" afterwards.

Not such a big gamble then...

You always claim that you never went in to it for the fame etc but the experience.  Could there be two people who sought nothing for themselves except experience.

You're right HC, most of us didn't participate in BB4 for the "fame" aspect. This guy may not be doing it for fame either - I just think that it's not a big risk when it's pretty certain he's aware of the gains that it's possible to make from participating in such a project. (Yes, we sincerely believed that there wouldn't be much happening after BB for us and he may be similarly naive...)

Surely by series 4 its a little niave to think you would not all come out with some measure of fame. Just dont believe you. Not calling you a liar thats a womans job

Didn't say we "would not all come out with some measure of fame". I should point out that the producers of the show went to great lengths to tell us not to expect anything interesting or exciting to happen afterwards. I know it perhaps sounds naive, especially being a huge fan of BB all along and realising what happens to the housemates each year, but I think there was a geniune belief among us that we could just go home and "get on with it". Some wish we had, but I think it would be a real waste to turn down some of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that we've been offered.

So, to reiterate my point, most of us didn't participate in BB4 for the "fame" aspect. It IS true we did it for the experience, and it IS true that at times it's been difficult to avoid a certain amount of press exposure. It's only once you've done it that you realise you can't separate the elements that easily.

No, I think they truly thought they were being realistic - I think they wanted to avoid anyone having shattered dreams or whatever. I think they take their responsibilities seriously, although I know some folk think differently.
