Not at all TC! I WISH!! In fact I only sold the Audi today, and I was a bit unprepared - no car to replace it yet so am running my M&D's other car while I make up my mind.

HD! Get off!

It's easy for people who don't have an interest in cars to go out and get "whatever" but I'm putting a lot of thought into my next wheels. I was at the Classic Cars LIVE at Alexandra Palace two weekends ago and am trying to convince myself that I don't "need" another "classic"!

Okay my logical mind does not get this scenario. You want to put a lot of time and effort into buying the 'right' car. I appreciate this!! However, would it not have been better to allow yourself time to think, decide and buy the 'right' car first, then sell the old one. In doing so M&D would still have their car.

I agree you don't 'need' a classic.....permit me to say this.....yer a 'classic numpty' yerself!!! (What's the point in having two 'classic's at the one address!!) ::lol:: ::lol::

Yes TC - the trouble is I think about having another car all the time. A friend wanted to buy my Audi, so I sold it to him, thinking it would spur me into getting a new one! Call it logic if you want... It's lucky my M&D haven't yet sold their old car and I am able to run it until I decide on what to get.

Any thoughts on "classics" then that might be suitable? Or not...

Joking aside.....I still don't get it. If you don't 'need' a classic, then why tempt yourself? My suggestion is Be Practical.

Now if you are practical minded, I could give you many suggestions!!! It's my forte ()^

No way HD! Cars are no substitute for women, even if they can be temperamental and unpredictable.

TC - have you never indulged in anything you didn't 'need'? I don't particularly need cd's and books but I seem to buy plenty of them :D .

I don't want a practiacl car, although if I happen onto something that's practical as well as being fun it'll be a bonus.
