I was amazed they got BB aired in the first place.

Yes ,me to.
Although I think most of it is due to relegious believes ,it does also portray to the western world a culture that appears to be in a different time period.
There more articles about the dating type BB that took arranged marriages to a new level. I think it is mentioned in the article above ,but at least that was allowed to run till the end although the outcome wasn't what was expected as the winning female refused to marry the winning male.
Somebody on another forum asked for pictures of the Arab house but most of the stuff has been pulled from the internet. The pictures of the mass protests are still there but that's about it.
I think there has only been one other country that has pull BB but I can't remember if it was Greece or Turkey .One of them stopped their first series on morrel grounds.
Most countries will stop at almost nothing when it comes to broadcasting events and Romania is a perfect example where it is defying the authorities and breaking the rules ,some of which wouldn't be accepted in many countries ,and gettings fines as a result. Saying that they have been told there is no risk of the show being pulled or them loosing their license ,so I guess they will continue to push the limits and pay the fines while they have the paying viewers.
