So far I am finding The Dinosaur Heresies one of the most interesting books I have ever read. The author was involved as a consultant with the Film of Jurassic Park.
The language is very American, but that is what helps it to be very readable to the non scientist. The first part of the book tells you about the early dinosaur hunters and their theories, I don't want to spoilt it for anyone who has not read so I will not venture too much. But so far I am finding it fascinating, if you are interested in the theories of dinosaurs then I very much recommend this book.
