Cameron ,do you think if you had been given a chioce of BB houses to be sent to that you would have chosen Africa ? And would you have based any descision on your experiences from your past travels ?

It amazes me that even this long after BB4, people still have new and interesting questions, and that one is a puzzler Larry!

I suppose logistically, BBA was a good choice - English speaking, similar time-zone etc. If I had had to choose I suppose I would have plumped for a place that I haven't been to, eg New Zealand. Having said that, it wouldn't have mattered where we went because I didn't get to see very much of the outside World anyway! It was nice to be in Africa and have the link - the fact that I've been to Africa several times before, I suppose I wouldn't have had such a link in NZ.

Apparently the French BB isn't very highly thought of in France.

I would like a spell in any other house really - it added an incredible bonus to an already fantastic summer.

Hi Cameron,

I'd love the chance to be either a guest or a contestant but who knows how long the format will survive to allow future applications.

I haven't seen the main French series which I beleive was called something like 'The Loft' ,the 'Les Colocataires' series that is currently running is very BB. Two groups of males and females in a house with a devide. Girls in one half ,boys in the other. Tasks ,parties (they are allowed to mix few certain things). They even have a telephone to communicate between the two halfs.
Actually looking at the pictures I think it's actually two houses.

One problem that is starting to spoil things is that different countries are starting to charge high rates to access the Internet feeds which would rule out most following them. While the Swedish and the Italians charged £19 for the whole series which when to bare in mind they they run much longer than the UK series is good value. The only draw back with the Italian series is the the Internet feeds are only available from 1000 - 1800.

Do you know about a really horrendous very cheapskate version that would have run in Belgium at this time last year? I remember being there for work just before BB4, in fact it would have been this week, had I been there this year, and switching on to see a dreadful imitation - sorry I can't remember what it was called. They had a pig as a pet and from what I could gather, the housemates could actually see over one of the garden hedges...

I found a satellite feed on the VTM transponder on a sat at 16E on 20th Oct and at that time they evicted 4th place but shortly after that the feed closed so I assume it ran for another week. The house from what I saw of it was very basic.
On eviction their were no crowds just a waiting car.
I've a tape somewhere with the footage.
The normal footage runs on a channel that I can't get and I think internet feeds are charged by the hour so normally that is one of the few countries that I don't get to see.

The last Portugeuse series had Pigs for pets. Infact at one point there was 3 or 4 but they soon reduced the numbers back to one. This series was odd to watch as they used a large amount of the tasks from UKBB2 and some from UKBB3. They also had 6 free feeds plus with some work the sat feed and the main channel with the daliy footage could be received.

It is ridiculous how much they charge for internet fee's. I remember seeing the feed's for BB2 for FREE on the CH4 website. Fair enough I didn't watch them long because it was narrow band at the time but now they charge you £9.99 a month or something!!!

You seem quite a major fan Larry - well done! ()^

The next OZ BB has free feeds.
But there are less and less free feeds as everybody cashes in.
I prefer to watch the live footage so I see what really goes on and not just what the producers what you to see. I'm sure Cameron if he has watched any recordings of the C4 coverage will be able to recall instances where events or persons were portrade differently to how they actually happened.

Yes having seen coverage from 18 countries I have to admit to being addicted to the whole BB thing.
