Rapper Romeo In Knife Attack Court Claim
A former member of pop collective So Solid Crew has appeared in court accused of being involved in a knife attack on a man.
Rapper Romeo is charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and violent disorder along with two of his brothers and another man.
They are accused of being involved in a fight with Peter Lancaster in a car park in central London.
Romeo, real name Marvin Dawkins, had been in custody since being arrested a day after the alleged attack but was released on conditional bail following the hearing at Southwark Crown Court.
Also appearing in custody were Julian Dawkins, 26, from south-east London, and Thomas Engola, 27, from south-west London.
No applications for bail were made.
Nathan Dawkins, 18, from south-west London appeared on bail.
Romeo, 24, has been following a solo career, with one of his singles being used on an advert for a deodorant.
The four defendants are due to appear at the Central Criminal Court in London on September 27 for a plea and directions hearing.
