We have often been told on here by ex HM's that they were advised not to expect anything on coming out of the house in terms of fame and media coverage etc. I have quite strong views about this but am just a mere pleb :D I have made my feelings know about that advise on other threads. I would like to ask Ray, Cameron and any other ex HM that joins if they would advise new HM's differently?

Also what is the main advise that you would give them?

Comments from others on the forum would also be great. Thanks.

I would stick by the advice given by the producers. Then at least you won't be disappointed. I suppose they tell prospective housemates that in case there's any going in with high hopes. As I'm sure you're aware, I genuinely thought I would be out of the house and back at work within a couple of weeks.

I would advise all housemates past and future to avoid TCbon. She is an absolute nutter.

There, back on topic :D

Okay, that's the last one...I promise.

${ Wonder if the level of media interest/ BB associated fame has lessened, stayed the same, or grown as the number of BB series increases.

it's lessened a great deal - the producers, have quite a task, on their hands to rekindle the interest and imagination of the general public.
.....i, for one, feel it's a task beyond them. {@}

The ex HMs still seem to be getting work as a result of their appearance on BB.

I think you are right though Adrian, in that there has been some interest lost over the years. Remember watching every show near enough of BB1, but BB4 I watched very little in comparison, especially in the early weeks.

Personally, I think they need to get more interest in the early days/ weeks to gain public attention and 'get people talking' about it. That's a difficult one though. In true British fashion.....the first few days especially the HMs seem to go through the pleasantry roles and a social system seems to be sought by those participating. That in it's self can lead to quite boring TV. :zzz:

What would you suggest for the task at hand?

It will be strange watching it this year, conscious of how they must feel on that first night. I watched the first night today on a video that Adam (bigbrotherbig) gave me - whew!

You did look kinda nervous when you first stepped into the house. Can you remember what was going through your head then?

There were a few stilted smiles and the new housemates were doing a lot of 'looking' at each other. (especially the girls).

Love watching group dynamics, it's very entertaining seeing how people interact, especially upon their initial encounters......you can most definitely tell those who are used to groups and those who aren't.
