We need the bar at the top back and that links page redone and we need the news updated.

EDIT: Everytime this get pointed out not a thing happens and DS:BB is updaated more than BBfans and they got a new look!

And it isn't very clear that Oitgit is a Mod

Erm - for the past two years actually - under my former name of "BB4" and continued under my rename after BB4 ended!

That's a bit rude. People are posting news on the forum all the time. Plus do the smilies really matter...?

You do a fine job HC, as do all the rest of the Mods and Ads. Anyone who is willing to make that commitment and devote the time gets my respect.

Perhaps I am being dopey this morning (or brain been fried), please if possible, can you give a fuller explanation on what your thread means cooltempest? Would like to fully understand what you mean.

So when someone paints the outside of their house bright orange and dayglo green, everyone else has to do the same? Other boards can do as they wish, this site may not need that glossy coat of paint.

As things happen they'll be posted to the front page, maybe there's not been much worth mentioning since the last 'headline' was written?

I would just like to add that you cannot compare this site to DS. They are a much larger concern (a limited company in fact) with staff working for them. They also have adverts and things on the site which bring in revenue for them.

This is a privately owned site (with no adverts) where everything is done on a voluntary basis. I pay for everything myself and the moderators very kindly give up their spare time voluntarily to help. We all have our own lives outside of the site and as Jezi said, the news in the forums is always kept up to date. Yes, maybe we have been a bit slack in not putting news on the front of the site, but if time is limiting, we feel that putting it in the forums takes priority as that is where our members will see it and be able to comment on it.

I am sorry that you are not happy, but we do try to do our best in the time available to us.
