I've said that after my initial dislike for Dan, I've really come around to liking him and I will be disappointed if he's not there at the end. The Big Brother house is like a magnifying glass in many ways. I don't know if you remember last year when we were given a picnic of melon slices, cucumber sandwiches and pink champagne - we were going nuts we were so delighted! All that over a wee treat. Similarly, other emotions are felt more deeply and I think the "fight night" was a good example of that.

You would love the summer up here John; all my new grass is growing lushly (know it's not a word, but pretty much sums it up), I'm going to a beach barbecue tonight and the sun is beaming. Lovely.
